At Home Phlebotomy Kit

ad

I wasn't sure where to post this so I am posting it this section. Kind of a weird post but here it goes. So a while back I found out that I was Hep C REACTIVE. Not Hep C positive but Reactive. This means that my body recognized the virus, developed antibodies, and fought it off. This is actually rare because 80% of people that are Hep C reactive, end up getting Hep C and have to get the cure for it. I guess I was one of the lucky ones who's body actually fought it off. Anyway, since im Hep C reactive, I cant give blood. Well, I can, but i have to lie about it and they just throw my blood away. I guess its no big deal to go about it this way but I was just curious if anyone knew of some kind of home Phlebotomy kit I could buy and just do it myself every 4 to 6 months. I know I could ask my doctor to set me up for a phlebotomy but Id dont want to have to do that really. I was EMT for a little bit so im not scared to do it and I know what Im doing when it comes to giving blood and drawing blood. Anyway, thanks guys.

Have your doc check your RBC and if he feels it is to high then just have him schedule one. Safest way.

Is your bloodwork showing that you defiantly need to do this? Some people think that this is a given if you cycle but this isn't always the case, I've run gear for 8 years and even on my last recent test everything was normal in that area.

I mean the only thing a Phlebotomy is going to reduce is RBCs... temporarily...

Androgen induced EPO the best fix is an Angiotensin II Receptor Blockers but you gotta understand how to use them.

I would do some more research here brother, good luck

I have seen research before where in some cases people have given blood for this reason their body over compensates for the blood loss and produces more than it previously had in circulation.

Im sure you can find something online just do alot of searching for blood drawing supplies they gotta sell it. But if worst comes to worst. Ide say 25g is probably the biggest you wanna put in a vein(my opinion) and get a 5cc needle and draw it full of blood, and if you want to go more than 5cc leave the needle in your vein and unscrew the back(leur lock) and screw a new one on and do another 5cc or how much ever you want. I know this is a very ghetto way to do it but it will work if all else fails lol.
