+ 1 Surgery/anesthesia while on cycle
ad
So I got news today I have to get surgery and go under anesthesia for an issue sometime soon. I was wondering if anybody else has had this issue. Terrible timing but it is what it is. I haven’t scheduled the procedure yet but would you tell the doctors about your aas use? If so what happened from telling them. I’d rather that information be in my medical file lol.

I would not say shit. If you do then they can start blaming everything on roid usage and then your health insurance will not pay for it. Don't drink caffeine this will help keep your blood pressure down. They really cannot tell if you are on roids unless they specifically test for them. For me I do have to donate blood once in a great while because my hematocrit goes sky high.
Thanks for the responses! I’m just going to keep my mouth shut. I’m running 750 test e and 500 deca btw.
Make sure your BP isn't running too high the day of the operation as they will likely hook you up to a blood pressure monitor whilst under, make sure it is within range and not hugely over to avoid any suspicions.
I would only tell them about Corticosteroids as they can cause issues with healing afterwards but anabolics won’t have adverse affects with anesthesia , I have had several surgeries while on blast and cruise cycles with no problems
All I can say is I've been under various concoctions whilst having Dental surgery done and although they only class it as conscious sedation, I cannot remember any of it and go spark out every time after 15 seconds of the IV being in my hand. I've had Propofol (Michael Jackson Death drug), Midazolam (Tranq and erases all memories of being awake during surgery!) and another one (maybe diazepam). The anaesthetist always asks me what other medications I am currently taking but I never tell him anything and I have always been fine, never wake feeling ill or being sick which some do. I always have the munchies when I wake up after being out 2 or 3 hours LMAO
Define cycle…
I was on 200mg/wk test cyp prior to my ACL surgery. I started immediately after tearing it and continued through rehab. I did this because the sole factor for rehab is atrophy of the leg muscles and how long it takes to build them back to provide a stable knee to protect those ligaments. I didn’t tell the doctor shit.
And I squat 405 three months after surgery. When I went in to the 4 month checkup where the PA tested my knee flexion/extension and had me flex my quad to compare the atrophy to my non surgical leg she muttered “damn” under her breath. I had no atrophy and my recovery was that of professional athletes…why do you think they’re back on the field so quick after major tears/surgery? They’re all on PEDs.
If you’re on a bunch of crazy shit then maybe back off to some lower doses (or drop to just test) for the surgery. But you’ll be fine
It will go in your file and any complications you have post surgery will be coughed up as your aas abuse and not look at maybe something is really wrong. Every headache, body ache your doctor will say its aas instead of looking for bloodclot or something serious. Thats why i dont tell my doctor. Plus my doctor will tell my insurance company i am taking something not prescribed by a medical doctor and ill lose my insurance. These are my reasons some doctors are cool so its Russian roulette. But my unprofessional opinion is that your hormone levels should have nothing to do with anesthesia or anything. Dont let this deter you from being transparent with your doctor i am certified paranoia schitzo lol
