Reaching TRT age

ad

Been on/off cycle for years now, and even being off cycle for months just barley keeps me in the green. I’m 43, thinking of just saying Eff it, and going full time? Always hit the gym and look good on cycle, sex drive like no other but hate marrying the needle at such an “early” age as well. Anyone in the same boat?

When I say age, I was generally speaking test levels start to fall off around 40. I be been tested and on the low side of normal but to me a huge difference even being on the high side of normal.
Be ME the benefits of even feeling like going to the gym and having ANY sex drive is reason for pinning but when you add in quality of sleep, energy to stay active etc.

Very good point about not always being able to get it so easily on the black market.
Thanks for your input!!

The fact that you need TRT or not is not determined by age but by your testosterone levels.
Sure if you’re super young there should always be searching for the root cause why you’re levels are so low and try to get them up with diet, exercise, recovery etc but sometimes they’re just low naturally in some people. And for older people obviously hormone levels drop with certain age so TRT is the only option.
There’s nothing wrong with going on TRT, just do it clever and get used to pinning you for the rest of your life but let me tell you, out of experience with myself, the increase in well being and quality of life it will give you, when you’re levels were low before, is so huge, I’ll pin myself all day long for that.
I recommend micro dosing daily or every other day with a small insulin syringe. It doesn’t hurt and is super easy.
There are even studies showing than subq injections are at least as effective as intra muscular over time but I was always a fan of IM, subq will just be a bit friendlier for some people.

YOLO Bro! -Tubular! -Epic advice!

Cruising under the guise of TRT is not a good idea. Sure, like coke or meth, you feel great... until you don't. An extreme example to make a point.

There is such a list of health issues that you'll be trying to maintain manually rather than let your body do what it does automatically. There's no study yet on longevity issues for TRT. What if health studies and laws change and it becomes harder to get a script or UGL gear, etc. TRT at 43? Means you've got roughly 60 years of maintenance and expense.

"Always hitting the gym and sex drive like no other" does not sound like a ready candidate for TRT.

When I say long term, I mean decades, not just a couple of years.

For example, the first nonstick cookware appeared in the US in 1961.
Teflon can now be detected in almost every human being on the planet. Decade(s) later... they are discovering links to kidney cancer, testicular cancer, ulcerative colitis, thyroid disease, high cholesterol, pregnancy-induced hypertension and much more.

We don't know how prolonged, artificially high, Test levels effect, brain, heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, endocrine and nervous systems, longevity, etc.

TRT is simply the best solution if you’re levels are low and you feel like shit. If lifestyle etc won’t bring it up then there’s nothing else you can do, what’s what I meant with there’s nothing wrong.

People are taking medications all over for certain diseases, TRT is just another one on the list and there’s studies out there proving that TRT within physiological ranges is good for your health if levels were low before, I don’t talk about a bodybuilder TRT which is still above normal.

No disagreement., like all things do it right or not at all.
"Just do it clever" is just stupid.

There's no such thing as TRT age. Sounds like your levels are normal, If in doubt have it checked by your GP.

43 is young.
