Prozac + STEROIDS

ad

Hello,
I'm going to do my second test cycle, and I recently started prozac after figuring out how much anxiety and depression I had.
I'd like to know if there is any interaction between test or deca and prozac ? and if so how serious is it ?

I'm not sure if this is the ideal place to post this, but I thought I'd chime I my experience recently with depression.

Had it since I was about 12, yearly periods of crippling end of the spectrum episodes over the last 4 years (gave up drink and drugs and it doubled in intensity).

Have had all SSRIs over the years, I get extra fat and couldn't fuck my way out of a pornstars pussy, they also stop working g after a while.

This year, right on schedule for mid October, I start getting ill. I tried a nasal spray peptide, PE-22-28, which works in a similar way to something called spadin. Found studies on pubmed, thought its worth a go.

Have been on it for 2 weeks, cognitive function improved within 4 days, mood after around a week. I feel a bit low but can work, hit the gym, eat sensibly, all the things I can't do usually.

Just wanted to share that for you and any other folks afflicted with it, I honestly can't believe how effective it is. REDACTED Has been a life changer for me

A few important questions.Did the anxiety and depression begin after your first cycle? I know that I can definitely feel a little depressed in between cycles, regardless of my PCT. I include test Prop or Sust immediately at the beginning of every cycle, and I immediately start feeling better within a day or two.

Now this is a very important question. Who prescribed the Prozac? Was it your primary doctor or a psychiatrist? If it was your primary, stop taking it immediately. Prozac should be a last resort and only prescribed by a psychiatrist after a thorough evaluation. It’s like, would you go to a psychiatrist if you had the Flu? Of course you wouldn’t. If you did, they would recommend you see a doctor that deals with the Flu on a daily basis. Catch my drift? Some primary doctors are too loose with their prescription pads, and should refer you to a specialist instead of risking the quality of your life.

Just in case you’re wondering, yes, I know this from personal experience. 15 years ago, I went through a very bad divorce, along with a custody battle designed by my ex to completely destroy my life. First anxiety attack I had ever had from the lies that were being told in court. I was completely losing it thinking that I was going to lose all custody of my child for being a marijuana smoker. It was illegal then, and bing used against me as if I were a drug addict. She threw in a few serious lies of me using heavier drugs frequently, which was complete bullshit, but because I tested dirty for weed, the judge was believing all her lies. Anyway, a friend gave me a Xanax one day and told me to go to her doctor and get a prescription. It worked so well, that I took her advice. The doctor prescribed be Xanax and Lexapro. Within a week, the Lexapro had me secretly planning to commit suicide. I confided in a friend with a psych degree, and he told me to discontinue the Lexapro immediately, and only use the Xanax when I really need it. Doctor prescribed it three times per day. Within a day or two, all thoughts of suicide diminished and I was ready to fight my best fight to prove I wasn’t an addict. Went to see a real psychiatrist and she wouldn’t prescribe me anything. She taught me some great coping skills, and I never took either of those drugs again.

Bottom line, get off the Prozac, and release your pent up energy in your workouts instead. Bring on the better you. Good luck, Bro!

There are some good suggestions here.

  1. It would be preferred that mood was regulated before the introduction of a cycle. That’s for your mental health, and physical health. It will also help prevent confounding the need to know importance of medication effficacy- I.e., is Prozac working? Or am I just loaded up on Test now so I feel a little better?Etc.

  2. Nandrolone in a second cycle is jumping the gun imo man. No reason for that.

  3. SSRIs do not “interact” with testosterone or nandrolone intramuscular. Some may interact with oral AAS depending on CYP450 pathways. Important to know that stuff as well as pathways for AIs - 2D6 and 3A4 being main ones.

However, many people on SSRIs can experience elevated prolactin during treatment which may or may not be symptomatic. Add 19-nor on top and without labs/close monitoring you’re asking for issues.

If you are cycling testosterone, when you come off cycle your anxiety and depression is going to be amplified and clomid will probably make your emotions be terrible. If you are suffering from anxiety and such from having low test you might want to think about stopping the Prozac and going on TRT. But it's a bad idea to be cycling if you suffer from anxiety and depression, when you are off cycle and your test levels are dropping you could have suicidal episodes and throwing clomid into the mix is asking for trouble.

Second cycle I sure wouldn't be throwing deca into the mix.

Research Prozac during TRT

No interaction. It's possible you could have some fatigue from the prozac, and technically SSRI's lower test but dosing exogenously would mitigate that
