Injection Safety

ad

Hey Fellas,
question about injection, so I've been pinning for a while now, but only today did I notice a little piece of the rubber stopper of my Test vial inside the oil. Is it still safe to use or should I just use another vial, please share you experiences I look forward to hearing your thoughts and encounters!

Shit happens.

I used to love a particular stopper but noticed even my favorite source has/is using stoppers that seem to fall apart faster.

Obviously not getting the particulates into your syringe will be best and/or actually aim to get it with the least amount of oil to remove it from the vial itself and shoot it out into the sink. Repeat if necessary.

Also, wherever on the vial you are plunging the needle into might be softer and thus (after cleaning the entire top of the vial as you should prior) you may want to go outside the "little circle" in the middle of the stopper when putting the needle in to get your oil out.

It may prevent further breakdown of the vial.

A final resolution that I can think of is buying empty "w/stopper" sterilized vials and basically transplant the oil from the soft rubber vial to one the sterilized vial with better stopper. You can buy sterlized vials and perhaps ones with better stoppers to do the transplant.

Hopefully this helps but always ensure everything you do/use is sterile and obviously DO NOT inject oils with particles in the syringe.

Very helpful, thanks for the awesome feedback brother! I will checkout some empty sealed vials with rubber stoppers from my syringe source.

Are you drawing it with a thick needle? I e never had this.

drawing up with a 1.5 22g perhaps its a bit too thick for drawing? I never had problems with this needle size in any of my cycles until this one. Any recommendations on what size needles you use?

Thanks Rusty, good to hear some feedback from a veteran like you, will take a look at the watman filtering method! Cheers

That needle size should be fine for drawing. I use 20g at 1.5in. The problem is probably the source you got the vials from. Some sources have used small stoppers but this caused the issue you were talking about

Perhaps so, thanks JFit appreciated brother!

Oil is safe, just don't draw up the piece of rubber stopper obviously.

Appreciate the advice Makwa nice to hear from you bro!

I know some sources on here were selling vials that the stoppers had this issue. It could also be your needles but youd need some massive drawing needles if this were the case.

Go to the sources reviews and see if others are having the same issue. Also go find the forum about needle sizing
