How do you properly utilize Glucose Disposal agents?

ad

Just bought some GDA's. How do I utilize these? when do i time them right? half hour before high carb meal? what about after? Currently bulking right now.

So the product you provided a link for has some of the correct ingredients that you would want. But you def need more berberine if you use that specific blend. So out of every carb disposal product I have used. Hands down the best one is the enhanced athlete one the slin pills. But right before I went away a year ago they switched the ingredients up a little bit, the only reason I noticed was because it had a strong maple syrup smell coming from the bottle so
I emailed them and they confirmed it was tweaked a little bit. So I combed the ingredients and it looked like they added like 1 thing and took 1 out so I believe it’s still good but I didn’t get to use it for long before I went away. I know for a fact that the original recipe worked very good because my ex girlfriend was a diabetic and she took a capsule a few times and it made her blood sugar drop WAY too low that she had to start eating frosting and all sugar shit. I am not with her anymore so I can’t have her sample the new recipe but I researched the new ingredients and they checked out good. And I don’t see why they would start making fake slim pills since that’s one of their best sellers. Sometimes I would burp up like maple syrup taste which I didn’t like but it seemed to still work fine. I haven’t gotten any in over a year so I don’t know what’s going on with them but they were always the best I’ve tried. If you decide to order from the enhanced website just make sure you use the correct website cuz there is a scam website that looks the same.

All the ones I’ve seen are meant to be taken either right before or with a high carb meal. You could get a glucose monitor (you should get one anyways if your using gear and hgh) and start tracking and learning how your body works with the GDA. For example see what your blood sugar is 30 and 60 minutes after a 75 carb meal and then the next day try it again but with the GDA. And learn your exact response to it so you don’t get caught off guard (idk if there even strong enough to do that but you never know)
Another time you could try taking it would be with a ton of carbs pre and intra workout. Like an hour before the gym take it and then have like 50-100 carbs and then make sure to sip a Gatorade intra workout just in case.

But first I would learn the effect it’s going to have and measure it. Things like GDAs and other medications that aren’t actual insn are kind of unpredictable, where as there effect isn’t as precise and predictable as it is with insn. X amount will always have x response to blood sugar levels. Where as with GDAs and other meds, it’s more varied.

I like to play things safe so I think I'll buy a glucose monitor.

Currently on 150mg/week TRT - with no plans of increasing that or any other compounds.

Current meals:

M1: Eggs + Turkey (No carbs)
M2: Chicken breast or steak (no carbs)
M3: Oatmeal and blueberries and granola (high carb PWO meal)
M4: Intra workout HBCD
M5: Small snack post gym, protein shake and fruit/candy
M6: Dinner, also high carb and high protein. Sometimes I'll make BBQ chicken pizza, could be sushi, could be mexican, etc.

That said, I should take the Berberine an hour before the PWo meal right? and after the post workout snack?

You could do it that way, or just once with the big preworkout meal. The label should have a good recommendation, if it says only once a day then do it with that preworkout meal.

Also if your bulking of up those carbs my man. You obviously know your body better than I do, but if you’re struggling to grow, you def have some room for more carbs there, especially in the morning. When your training, the muscle glycogen your burning is stored way earlier, so if your only getting carbs RIGHT before the gym, you may be leaving some gains on the table.
But you’ll know what works for you, just if your not gaining like you want to, it’s just something to consider, especially while on a bulk.

Thank you for the advice Smile very much appreciated my friend.

I am upping the carbs slowly. Currently at 415g carbs on training days.

Additionally though, Ill have that pre workout meal at say, 2:30 PM, then go lift at around 4 PM. So theres a good amount of time in between.

Well if you look at endurance athletes like a marathon runner, they’re carbing up the DAY before. So it would be interesting to find out how long it actually takes to store and utilize those carbs, I’ll have to look into it.

Just follow the directions on the bottle. It tells you how/when to dose

I typed asterisks the bleep out a word and it made all that bold font, that wasn’t done on purpose to emphasize that part or anything. Guess I learned some new syntax stuff

If I know I’m about to slam some carbs on a bender I’ll take like 1000mg of berberine before hand. Otherwise I just dose it 500mg 3x a day. Wake up, noon, pre bed.

Why wouldn't you research them first to know if they would be a good option for your goals before buying them. You should have done adequate research prior to purchasing them, cause who knows what you bought, maybe you want to use long acting for your intended goals and you purchased fast acting. It sounds like you know little to nothing about them and that's a good way to hurt yourself, especially with ins****. Thats why this forum highly frowns upon discussion of ins****, because silly pickles like yourself buy them without any adequate knowledge and if you dose it wrong, it can and will KILL YOU. Should I go on a source site and just purchase whatever sounds good without doing any research? Absolutely not dude. You'd be wise to start extremely small with what you're about to use. Even better, get a professional coach and have him monitor your usage. I sure hope to god you bought a glucose monitor already if you bought ins****. I hope I'm not coming off as a dickhead, but these are ABSOLUTELY not to be taken lightly. We have a few past forum members who died from this stuff.

It’s not insulin brother. Do some research before you roast a guy for not doing research. lol. I know your intentions were good tho

What he’s talking about is an OTC supplement that supplement companies have designed to sort of replicate the effect of insulin. It’s usually just natural stuff like Berberine and black pepper extract, cinnamon and BioPerine shit like that.
