+ 1 Experience with Intermittent fasting

ad

I was just wondering if anyone had experience with intermittent fasting while on a cut? I try to cut and keep my meals small and eat 6-7 times a day. I am not always hungry first thing in the morning I usually just do black coffee but I always force myself to eat egg whites and oatmeal. I obviously want to maintain as much muscle as possible while also getting shredded but I’m not sure if IF will benefit or hurt with that? I always eat something before the gym even if I happen to skip breakfast I just push my gym session to later in the day where I know I will be hungry before this way I am not lifting completely empty.

I didn’t want to open a new thread, so sorry if I’m bumping an old one unnecessarily.

But I wanted to share something here that I’ve never really shared with anyone Smile Like most people, I started intermittent fasting with the typical 16:8 pattern. To be honest, I can’t really say it worked for me. In fact, there were times when I actually gained weight doing it Smile

But I experimented with different variations of it. My body has a really hard time losing fat , even when eating super clean, it’s tough for me to burn fat. For the past 3-4 years, I’ve been doing intermittent fasts that go up to 72 hours. I think the longest I’ve done was a 9-day cycle: 5 days fasting + 1 meal + 4 days fasting.

What I regularly do now is 72 hours fast + 24 hours refeed + 72 hours fast + 24 hours refeed. During this, I usually run a minimum of 350-500 mg of Testosterone and 200 mg of Trenbolone. This combo has given me the fastest and leanest progress of my life - insanely quick results. For some reason, muscle loss is almost nonexistent.

Even though this goes against most of the principles I used to follow, this has become my new discipline. Just dropping this here in case it helps someone out.

Intermittent fasting is a fancy way of saying calorie restriction. A true fast is beyond 36 hours.

I’ve done a fair bit of intermittent fasting before ever touching aas.I lose my ability to be energetic in the gym. I also didn’t feel like I doing anything with others because I was just drained all the time. Lost weight but it was probably a mixture of muscle and fat. I did omad , 8 hr and 4 hr eating windows. I tried to make it work for extended periods of time around 3 months. I personally found it just wasn’t for me. You may differ.

Fasting for multiple days I really enjoy. After the third day I feel like I’m high. Everything seems funny to me. It’s a great way for me to fix digestive issues I may have developed. Or an opportunity to reset after binge eating on vacation or holidays. I just drink water and electrolytes and keep pushing forward with mental discipline.

I've fasted for 32 days once and it was an awesome experience (after about day 4). I just made sure I drank plenty of mineral water and electrolytes.

Right? That’s him. Not to sound like an ass kisser here, but if you want sane, rational, all around advice that won’t get you killed, @Greg, @eighty7, @press1, and @UncleYoked are the guys to go to. There’s a few knuckleheads here I won’t call out by name that’ll get you hurt lol. I’m not an expert on the drugs, pretty knowledgeable but not an expert. Now bodily functions? That’s where my education is, and when I see guys posting ridiculous protocols is where I step in.

Oh damn dude nice! I’m going to have to give it a try. I probably would not make 32 days but I will strive for 5-6 haha

If you make it to 5 or 6 the rest is a cake walk. More energy, no hunger, better sleep. A great sense of well being.
