Interesting read. I love baseball and remember the "steroid era" which was from about 1999-2005 where most players were on AAS and GH. Look at the amounts these guys paid. $1,800 for one kit of GH!! Man someone should have introduced these guys to Jintropin which I got in 2003 for about $300 for 100iu's! What a waste. Plus most of the guys were busted for writing checks to pay for their gear. Genotropin is mentioned a couple of times. For what we now know about Chinese GH these guys should have been on erowids and using Monopoly money and Bitcoins which were available in the early 2000's. What most of these guys needed was a gopher to procure their gear and inject them. Its seems most of them didn't even know how to inject hGH or steroids.

aasfreak69No I haven't but will have the check it out. Thanks for the heads up. Im a huge Cubs fan and Sammy Sosa was so juiced it wasn't funny. Everyone knew it but no one seemed to care. People actually got more pissed when they caught him with a corked bat. Have you guys seen Bonds lately? He's the hitting coach for the Marlins and no more huge head. He actually looks human now...LOL. Just goes to show many how many of these guys were on GH in addition or sometimes in place of AAS. I think GH definitely must improve sports performance. The stuff really is great. It gives you most of the effects of AAS without the sides. I also read something about ARod today who is retiring next week that the guy who started him on GH told him it would help his sleep, help grow his hair, improve his strength, and help him recover from injuries.
I just think its kind of funny how many of these dumbasses were writing checks for AAS and GH like it was nothing. Ever heard of cash fellas?
bigmurphIts true and most of these guys come down to miami to get there gear and hgh because there are so many anti aging clinics and doctors that will write you whatever you want. Especially if you have big money you can get anything.
aasfreak69Yeah a lot of these guys were busted because they were on a client list for several of those anti-aging clinic in FL and elsewhere. Most of the doctors at the clinics they busted weren't even MD's so the prescriptions weren't valid. The thing is I don't have millions and I can get anything I want too and for much cheaper than what these guys were paying. I find it incredulous that most of these guys were paying their dealers with checks. Who even writes checks these days?
Its funny because had these guys just made a free account on erowids they could have gotten better gear much cheaper and without a paper trail. These guys were all using the same doctors too so when one got popped they caught like 30-60 players. I don't think most of these guys had a clue what they were doing with AAS and GH because so many of them had guys injecting them like they couldn't do it themselves. You would think they could do some research and use the internet to find out how to use AAS and GH.
bigmurphDid you happen to see the documentary on al jazeera about all the athletes they got to buy peps and hgh also gear. Its a great insight into what these guys will do to keep there job and get paid more.
