HGH potentially raising ALP

ad

I have gotten recent blood work and everything came back fine other than an elevation in my ALP (alkaline phosphatase). My last set of labs were done in September as I get a full CMP done biannually and everything came back normal. The thing is that I started running GH 6 days a week Monday through Saturday at 4iu and my ALP tripled since my last set of labs in September. I have also read some studies on GH indicating the increase in ALP. My AST and ALT are both perfect and this led me to believe that the GH is the cause of this which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as I know GH is converted to IGF-1 in the liver. ALP is shown to increase when there is either damage to the liver, which isn’t likely due to my AST and ALT being perfectly fine, or abnormal bone growth/bone tissue disorders.

My question is, has anyone here noticed this occurrence in your own blood work? Once again this was my first run with Gh and I am not currently on any AAS or have been since December of 2020.

Interesting. I haven't heard of that before but I see there is some pediatric clinical studies supporting the correlation.

Let us know what the follow up is, would be good to know for HGH users.

Yeah I read that study and a few others. One of my friends has been doing 3iu’s daily since November and is about to get blood work. This is quite interesting if Gh is the root cause and could also be a potential alternative to determine whether or not the Gh is actually good or bunk. This could also explain the reasoning behind some people claiming their hands and feet grow with long term use of Gh, as high ALP is associated with abnormal bone and tissue growth.
