HGH and Eating
ad
I have read alot on here about when to inject HGH it seems everyone has a different opinion, my question is how soon should you eat after,or before your injection? Some people say not to eat within 2 hours of your pin. Can anyone give me any facts?

Wow, there is an incredible amount of misinformation in this thread. I'll try to explain the process of HGH so as to justify my statements.
Natural GH is secreted in the body when glucose levels are low, mostly at night. Taking HGH before bed is not wise as you'll just prevent your natural secretion from occuring.
Obviously, since not only IGF-1 levels are beneficial for HGH but also insulin, you'll want to eat directly after an injection, so as to spike your levels thereby aiding the insulin in IGF-1 production.
I do an injection directly in the morning before breakfast, and one directly after training, around 5 - 6 pm.
Important thing is to make sure that you have a high amount of carbs and easily digestable protein following the injection. Fat is to be kept VERY low so as not to slow absorption.
Hope this helps.
Thanks, I will try that. I'm pinning in the mornings, but get really sleepy around lunch time. Just started, 2 IU's. Also, will give my body a couple of weeks to adjust.
I need an excuse to start eating a better breakfast.
I'm going with morning pins for (if I can stay awake at work) for a few weeks. If still doesn't get better (being sleepy) I might try afternoon pins.
Some good info EB, I have tried pinning GH all different times and I've found that if I pin in the AM before I eat I feel alot better than if I do it later in the day. Why this is I dont know but what you say kinda makes sence with it.
poonappPersonally if I eat within 90 mins either side of my GH jab i get really tired and im guessing this is something to do with the insulin spike not cooperating with the GH.
Carbs, Fat, sugar and alcohol all blunt GH in differing degrees.
If you must eat within 90mins of your jab either way stick to lean protein like Chicken breast or white fish.
i have heard you should not eat 2 hours before or after
You will burn body fat regardless of your diet. That is if you continue to eat what your presently eating. You cant start eating more because your doing H. You wont see the results. As far as the effects of gowth and the times that you eat. Makes no differance. BUT it is required that you dont consume carbs before bed for the fact that it will effect the natural release of the hormone. Thats a quote from the doc.
tread-mYes, many opinions on injection time and I can only give you mine and reason behind. Men produce pulses of hgh as they sleep while women pulse awake. For men, you dont want to take it at bed because you could suppress natural production, in the morning as you wake you are peaked so I personally think the best time is mid day when you are in your low. As to eating, I dont happen to think there is any reason to believe it matters.
I would like to find out if there is any science behind the eating thing, I've been told by my local Guru that if you eat within 2 hours your insulin changes and kills the hormone. I would like to know if this is true because Treads theory on injection time seems the most logical to me(early afternoon) I just cant figure out how to pin between my meals.
Just a question on the night time dosing; if using HGH supresses natural production similar to the way AAS has the effect on HPTA, would the bedtime injection really matter?
tread-mIt has been shown to matter yes. Its a little different than natural test. The idea on the blast side is this. You likely have more test in the flow of things than you actually need when compared to growth. So if you need more in comparison to test the body will first attempt to make that balance in the hpg axis. If it cant it will discard the excess growth or test. Now lets say for the sake of argument we dont know if the hp pulses. Its better to opt for a day pop just in case it does. In other words no real advantage to hit at bed time anyway. Having said that tests have shown pulse naturally even when ramped up on hgh. Can the axis use it all, depends on the volume of test. The pulse does slow for sure but a complete shutdown does not occur.
