TRT or a VAR boost, or bad idea?
So here's the deal, I did a Drol/test cycle beginning of the year - went awesome.
Load of gains and kept them. Then disaster. Had eye surgery, couldn't train.
I got over that and started training again natty but pushed it to hard and tweaked my rotator cuffs (Both)
Then got appendicitis and had that bastard removed. - couldn't train again
Good thing is that it rested my shoulders so I'm good to go again but it was a warning flag to me to not to go in guns blazing to regain all my lost hard work from earlier this year.
I should say at this point that I loose bulk and strength fast if I don't train and eat, and with my last run of sickness I haven't be able to do either properly and paid for that dearly.
Spirit unbroken I want to get back but I feel need a boost to get my game on.
I'm thinking to cruise test at 125 a week or do a course of VAR to warm up ready for a dbol/Test cycle starting in JAN/FEB
In this time I'm looking to build my core strength and cardio with some crossfit/MMA style training combined with my regular gym training, ready to hit it hard in the gym next year without hurting any tendons or ligaments.
So my question would be which would be better to low dose the test or run VAR or have I got my head in the clouds with this.
As all you other 40+ out there know its not like it used to be ... Twice the work = half the gain and I never had it easy even when I was younger so I figure it wouldn't harm to give myself a little help in hand to get back on track.
Thoughts appreciated

Your profile says you're ectomorph, and this forum says you're endomorph.
Revamp your diet with a macros tailored to build muscle. Alternate light and heavy lifting regimens.
Hold AAS.
Sorry, I saw that after it was to late to edit :(
It should say ectomorph in this post
My diet is reworked regularly, I have ongoing advice from a state dietist and a self employed body builder / PT / Nutritionist who lives here in the same town as me. Plus my own research and experimentation.
It's as good as I can reasonably get it.
I react to sugars and have some food intolerances, I have been working with it for years.
It's not too late, you can edit either to make them the same. Glad you have some awesome resources to utilize.
Whats your test levels now? Your test levels might be 500 and 125mgs of test will put you right at about 500, exaclty where you are naturally. So thats not a good idea.
I would workout naturally from now until jan when you wanna run a cycle, id say end of january, give yourself the 2-3 months atleast to get back in the swing of things, get back in the routine of dieting, get your tendons and ligamiments used to moving heavy weight again. Gain as much of your strength and size back as you can naturally. I think youll be pleasntly surprised on how far you can go with muscle memoroy and alot of good quality food and hard training. Then when you buiild yourself back up to close to where you were, cycle and surpass your previous bests. no point in cycling to just get back to where you already where. Once youve been there its much easier to get back, so take advantage of that muscle memory.
About the only thing i would suggest at this point is some hgh, i think that could benefit you.
Thanks IG
I'm not sure what index you are using for the test measure
On cycle in May my test looked like this
S-Testosteron, total 129 nmol/L
After pct (about the end of august
S-Testosteron, total 19 nmol/L
I would assume my test is still around the same, it's usually stable
I guess I can get it tested again, are there any other bloods you would want to see?
Maybe this is just lack of experience here but can I ask where does the 500 number come in?
I have used HGH before and struggled with the sides even at .25 ml the carpal tunnel and lethargy were so unpleasant I didn't think it was worth the gains it gave.
But if that's what you guys live with then I would give it another shot.
That was a few years ago and my diet is much better now so it may work better.
Thanks again
If you do a month of orals now, then do more orals in the new year, that is a lot of stress on your liver. Even low dose orals are tough on a fella.
You know your body, you're in control. Why not just do twelve weeks natty to get you back in the groove, then do a basic test cycle?
We're old. Why be impatient? You've been through A LOT this past year, so don't be discouraged. Slow and stead wins this race, and you know this! Rooting for you, brother.
IMHO best advice.I can totally relate. I have even had heart issues to add to that list..Keep it simple brother and keep it slow and steady. Screw orals at this point. We may not be leading the race but we are certainly still in the game damn it. ;-)
Good point on the orals and thanks for the moral support.
I guess I'm impatient because I spent a long time getting there and I'm not getting any younger ha ha.
The Mrs and myself have also developed quite an exciting social life in the last 5 years the kind of lifestyle where it helps to look good if you know what I mean and I want to ride that wave as long as I can.
I know going natty is the way to go but on the other hand I don't want to strain anything when I go all out.
True I have been through a lot, but before the surgeries, the last cycle was awesome, good gains and It took away all kinds of niggles and pains, even helped with Osteoarthritis so I was feeling on top of the world and ready to go again.
I see what you are saying though and I know it makes sense
Blood work ? NOT one word about BLOOD WORK .
WTF.
ETA: Tattoo ?? You still got that stupid ass gay tattoo.
Got my bloods done 3 months after the end of my last cycle test / estradiol and lipids were back to normal (where they were before I started pretty much), except cholesterol was a little high. no reason for them to have changed since then. It's only been a few months and my blood values have been stable over the years I have been collecting them and seeing the patterns.
I had some tests before and after my ops, obviously the tests showed an infection before the appendix was removed but that value dropped in the post op tests. Everything was good.
No biggie
Ref the Tattoo, Yes I do have still have this tattoo, That's the thing about tattoos, they are permanent so by default I would still have it, thought that would have been obvious. Seems odd that you would ask me such a question.
But thank you for your concern about my blood.
Tats are an easy identifier and data collected by LE. And being involved with steroids isn't really legal.
Yes tats are permanent/semi permanent, posting pics of them is equivalent to gift wrapping yourself for LE.
Never been in trouble, ........get picked up, try using your cell phone to DELETE them from a holding cell .
Fair enough, took care of it.
