TRT: Before and After? How do you feel now? How long does it take to feel the benefits?

ad

As the title says, how do you guys feel now on TRT as opposed to before you were on it? In what ways has it changed your life?

Just started self-admin @ 250 Test-E a week. On day#8 now. I'm hoping for libido, erectile, sleep, memory, mood and fat loss benefits. Have confirmed low T (~260 ng/dl). 38 years old. Plan to adjust the dose down to a minimum level where I feel benefit (100-200mg/week). Got a bit excited to start. Been almost 10 years with low T. Really want to feel something!!!

Thanks MK. Will look into.

Sorry bro. Getting used to the format of this board. My low T was from propecia/proscar use in my late 20's. Only did a short 4 week cycle when I was 22. Barely did anything. I was completely normally sexually right until my ~3rd month of propecia, then everything slowly declined....

I started TRT a few years ago, Doctor had me at 150mg of T. Cyp every other week.
I knew it was a low dose and not frequent enough but I was tested really low at around 150 (can't remember what free test was). Way too many years of long 1-AD cycles mixed with occasional real cycles probably caused that.
The effects are very minor but it does "normalize" me. It puts me back to how I made gains in my 20's as a natural lifter. I used androgens from 29-mid 30's'.

In summer I get extra test and do a 6 week cycle working up to 300mg weekly. At that level I see excellent gains every week. By excellent I mean a little bigger, leaner and stronger each week, not crazy gains like a bodybuilder but perfect for me.
But I make sure to prep in spring by doing a 12-16 week cutting phase to get rid of extra fat so the gains look more pronounced.
I only get tested once in a while and haven't had a problem with that. If I was asked I would probably just skip the lab and at my next appointment just say I totally forgot. It would buy time to lower the dose.

But 150 bi-weekly has a very very subtle effect.
