Tennis Elbow Issues
ad
I can't see to get rid of tennis elbow. After several weeks of icing and advil it goes away, but then comes back. I dont know how to fix this issue. I like playing pickle ball for some of the cardio I do, but it kills my elbow and in turn hurts during lifting. Any suggestions?

I got something that felt like shin splints in my forearms, from doing excessive curls. It sucked and I had to lay off about 6 weeks. Then I slowly added them back in once a week for a month then I was able to get back into my routine. But I tried to back off to once a week and it didn’t work for me. My layoff was the only thing that helped.
A.R.T. and voodoo floss will fix this

Hello Sir,
I would advice to avoid any activities that put any pressure on the elbows and allow to heal.
If you that's something you can not avoid, try to warm them up before going hard.
If I am planning to do French press I would always start with the ropes and lots of reps while slowly adding up weight. If you prepare your elbows for heavy weight, that will derinitely help to avoid possible injuries. I guess it's a bit too late for you now so I would recommend to take it easy and let it heal.
And yes I always use elbow straps even if elbows do not bother me just to keep joints warm.
Regards
I had the same issue. I always use animal pak and animal flex but the flex didn't help. I added animal OMEGA and BAM that pain was gone. I was at the point I couldn't bench or do any triceps work but the omega took that shit away.
I have had the same issue multiple times. The forearm straps for tennis/golf elbow work. Buy them at any drug store. They massage the tendons to breakup the torn fibers that are causing the issues/pain. Also you can roll the area over a barbell, I use the bench. Roll the bar back and forth with slight pressure. It is painful but the fibers need to be broken apart to heal.
In the meantime while healing the damaged fibers, do your pull motions with a hammer style grip. I did a lot of hammer curls which release the direct tension of the tendon and bicep and shifts the pressure to your forearm muscles.
Also BP 157 is the peptide that has miraculous healing ability. Plenty of info out there.
Tendinitis sux fir sure. Ive had it in both elbos. I had to take 4 pluss months off from curls and pull ups. Having it did help me focus on my back contracting say doing lat pull down and seated rows. I can focus on pulling down with elbows instead of pulling down my hands. If that makes sense. If you keep injuring them they will not heal. I know take a break is a horrible idea butt it's the only thing that will help. There are some peptide companies out there that offer some peptides that deal with tendon healing. I have researched bit have no experience with them.
And when I got back to it I went super light and had to build back up in the strength .
I had to wear straps on my forearms to take away the pain while lifting. Mine got so bad that if I didn't have them on, I wasn't even able to grip a bar... As far as I'm concerned, the only thing that will help is taking a break and letting them heal. Icing and all that doesn't do shit...
I had bad problems with mine a few years ago, after cortisone injections, icing and rest.
The only thing that helped was applying heat for 15-20 minuets then ice for an hour or so every night while watching tv.
It’s the lack of blood flow to your tendon that slows healing, the hot and cold pulls blood into that area, good luck
