New Guy but Feedback much Appreciated!

ad

This site is amazing. I've been reading a lot here and I appreciate any and all of the input given by each member. I've have/had hormone imbalance issues, and like some you out there, I don't have anyone (doc, family, friends, etc.) that I feel I can talk to. Hoping some of you may be able to give me answers or at least some "IMOs."

I'm 40 now, but age 33 I had severe panic attacks and was put on anti-depressants. The panic seemed to pass but I no longer felt "Manly." Severe decreased sexual desire, or really any desire at all. I'm in the VA system and over the course of 5 years they changed the anti-depressants type and amount to help find the answer to the severe melancholy I was suffering thru. Finally, I convinced them to check my Total Testosterone and it was in the tank at 247. I was given 1.5ml of 250 test c every two weeks. After a year of this my best Total-T score was 421. The urologist changed me over to Androgel 1.6% at 2 pumps a day (I thinks it's 20mg Test per pump) and after 6 months my Total T was 186! Doc increased the gel to 4 pumps a day and after 6 months my Total-T was 376.

Frustrated with the VA's approach to treating me and motivated by the fact I've bought more new shoes in the past 6 years than I've had sex, I decided it's time to start my own AAS dosing. After two doses of 250ml test e I had my Total Test checked and it was 1570 and, hell yeah, it feels like it too! For the first time in almost seven years I feel like me again!! now my interest in AAs is through the roof (again thank you eroids.com and members!) and there is much for me to learn, but for now I have one pressing question. The 2 months before my panic attacks when all of this shit started, a friend gave me 250 test c (i think c) per ml that I ran weekly (1ml) for 5 weeks. That cycle was the first (and last until recently) ever. No PCT and just the test c during that time. My question to the Bros is this...is it possible that after that cycle my natty shut down and never restarted? If likely, how likely? If so, would a PCT cycle now possibly jumpstart my natural production (now meaning if i stopped all injections and gels)? If so, with my natty shut down for so long, are my boys permanently retired?

I think that was more than one question. Appreciate all input. I didn't provide much personal info (wt, ht, labs, etc) in hopes of keeping it short. More than happy to share that to help generate feedback. Much respect to you all!

since you have been on TRT for quite some time, i do think it will be a lot harder to kickstart your body again. it seems like your highest T levels were when you were injecting 250mg's every 2 weeks. i would talk to your doctor about taking 250mg's every week instead. when you took the test that gave you 421, how long after you injected did you get blood work done? it is possible that the cycle without PCT could have shut you down and you didnt bring them back after it. why would you run it for 5 weeks. it take about 4-5 weeks to get cyp to fully kick in so you were essentially stopping it at its peak and then cold stopping without any PCT. the thing is, you have been on TRT for over 2 years. not sure if you can recover from that long on trt.

alloneword...yes, I have mad respect for AAS now, should have then. Cjplay, I've been considering running a course of HCG, Clomid and Nolvadex in accordance to William Llewellyn's book Anabolics 10th, pg 87 and have lab work ordered online to monitor change (if any). Admittedly, I am very yella about being completely hrt free though to do this. Thanks again, Bros.

First, I'd like to say that I am no expert by any means. Lately I've been reading up on HCG. I'm curious as to what it might do for you. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for sharing this. Although I can not comment whether you will be able to produce test naturally, I can say that this is a great example of the purpose of this forum and making information readily available. Hopefully some younger guys will see this and get the point.

I'll say what most are thinking. That small cycle of test that your buddy gave u may have been the start of a devastating fire. At 33 your natty test isn't where it was when you are 25 and neither is your ability to rebound from a short shut down. That panic attack could have been cause by low test, high estro etc. Basically a chemical shock to the system from high test to no test in a short time duration. You may be on trt the rest of your life but just bc I've never heard of system restart after that long doesn't quite mean it can't be done or attempted. Good luck bro.

Thanks, littlebig. I fully expect lifetime hrt, just making sure my time is spent learning "Blasting and Cruising" vs. PCT. Thanks, Bro!
