Need Help Guys
Hey Guys,
After 2 years or so of feeling like shit, i recently decided to go get blood work done to see what was going on with my body. I figured it was low t, as I had the majority of the typical symptoms, but keep in mind, I am ONLY 28 years old. I went through puberty very late (16) which was induced with testosterone therapy, so perhaps my body just never produces enough T.
The results came back as follows:
Testosterone, Serum 228 LOW ng/dL 348-1197
Free Testosterone(Direct) 8.4 LOW pg/mL 9.3-26.5
I am self employed, and without any insurance.
I just ordered some Test E, and plan on injecting 200mg every 2 weeks (100mg per week) with the hopes that my test levels will get around 600 to 800ng/dl.
I have not gotten my estrogen levels checked, but will do so this week, if you guys recommend.
My question for you gentlemen is whether or not I should run any AI's or HCG during my treatment? Secondly, how long should i run this treatment; Is this a permanent thing, or should i cycle this?
I apologize in advance, as Im not terribly knowledgeable about TRT. The endocrinologist in my area wants to charge me around $300 for a consultation, not to mention whatever he wishes to charge for treatment, and thats a bit steep for me at the moment.
Any help would be much appreciated!

thats pretty high for a consultation. i would check around to see if you can find something cheaper for a dr visit with an endo to go over your blood work. more than likely you will get put on test cyp which generally is 200mg's every other week to start. i do not think this is the best approach and believe in weekly treatments instead. some guys will break that 200mgs into weekly shots of 100mgs a week and even go further and split that up to 50mgs 2x a week for more consistent blood levels. you do not want to take 2 shots a week at 200-250mgs per shot. thats a cycle and not intended for TRT purposes. way too much and will put your levels high. as far as the PCT advice, you won't need that since you will be using TRT for life so there will be no need for that. if you had insurance, most likely they will cover your test injections. but a 10ml vial of test cyp from sams club is under $100. i'd start with a low dose of 100mgs a week for a bit, see how you feel from that. get blood work done after a month. but dont get it done the same day you inject, wait about 48 hours and then have it checked.
You guys are great, thank you for taking the time to reply.
I am noting all info given, and welcome any and all advice. I will keep you all updated.
To reiterate, I am only doing this to get my levels up to par; Im not looking to get big and ripped. Just tired of being tired, having no sex drive, and feeling run down :(
AnonIm not looking to be big and ripped either, but when you start to get showered with compliments its hard not to want to go further. Good luck, you'll love it !
You guys are right just wanna say that first.
But- TRT and cycling are two totally different things, injecting every 4 days for TRT is way overkill. Same with every 3 days Sustanon. If he lives in America there will be no sust, it will be test cyp or enan whichever the pharmacy has the doc usually writes cyp/enan on prescription. Once per week Injection is fine, once every 10 days is what I see a lot too from guys at the gym on TRT. You gotta remember the point of TRT isn't to get you swole lol. It's to just maintain "normal" test levels, and one shot every 7-12 days is most definitely efficient, of course you and your doctor will tweak it as it goes along but once the test builds up he should be fine. If this is a self prescribed TRT just do once per week 200mg. But in all honesty I would go see the doctor bro.
Buildbigger86Mac super informative on this plus 1 from 1
AnonIf you suffer from low testosterone now then this will be a lifetime deal . At least if you want to feel good it will be, but there are other health risks to low T too.
As far as cycling , no you will always be on, you cant blast (run a higher dosage ) then cruise
(back to a TRT doseage)
one shot every two weeks isnt a great plan, the levels in your body will be up down up down. You would be far better off injecting once a week, but even that is a stretch. I do every 4 days with test enanthate . Sustanon was originaly designed to be a long lasting trt drug, you could also try Sustanon at once a week, (although many commonly use that E3 days )
An AI ? Well if your dose of T is going to be low like 400mg a month, then Id measure your estro now, and again in 1 month. Some people are far more prone to Estro and its sides . Keep an AI on hand though. But quite frankly I think you can afford to hold off on the AI and use it as needed. High estro is pretty easy and quick to fix, provided you know what it is you are fixing.
I use HCG, but you have to be aware that it will cause an increase in Estro, so if you arent running or are low on the AI dose, then be careful.
Unless you are going to jump in and run this like a cycle, Id try and just stick with that little dose of testE and see where your bloodwork goes.
Buildbigger86Noviceass plus 1 for me as well for you
Buildbigger86Noviceaas- So you and i are the same page with this post.
AnonYes we certainly seem to be for the most part . My only feeling is that with such a low dose T boost he wait a little before adding the AI. If he was jumping right in with a cycle Id feel different.
Buildbigger86YES AGREED
Buildbigger86Hey brother, If you suffer from Low T levels natural which you def do with those numbers posted because someone at the age of 28 should be around 500-700 roughly. ( Fellas who ever replies to this post please correct me if i am wrong.
But since you do suffer from low T levels i would just go to doc and have him prescribed you some Test cyp 250 or Test eth 250. Most likely the will give you watson or something Pharma company like that.
Also i would in my opinion i would take 2 shots a week of around 200-250 per shot a week. Making it a total of 400mg- 500mg of Test a week. I dont see any reason why you need to get your estrogen levels checked being that you already suffer medical from low test levels.
In terms of taking an AL on the test it is a MUST. You should take 12.5mg of Aromasin Every day. This will help with the DHT conversion and estrogen build from the test. In terms of HCG in my opinion it is not necessary unless you are running your test cycle for a long time and want to some on cycle test therapy. So for example if you ran like 500mg-750mg a week for 12 weeks. On week 6 or so you could take 2 shots a week of hcg at 250iu per shot. So give you a total of 500iu a week. To inject the HCG Though get insulin needs and you take you hand and put it in front of your belly button and either go 6 inches to right or left but at the level of where your belly button is positioned. Also again if others who see my responses mainly the guru's and think there is a better may he should do this please by all means correct my mistakes.
Also if with insurance they dont cover bottles of test or deca or var prescribed by doctor but you can usually
pay around $250 for a 30ml of deca pharma grade and the test shouldnt be that much.
If you run only 100mg every 2 weeks i do not think you will see much of a difference in your T Levels and i def dont think you will be getting up to 600-800ng/dl off that little amount. i Think if you ran like 300mg of test a week divided into 2 shots making each shot 150 mg each. That it would raise your levels alot better.
In terms of length you should just 1: 10mg/ml vial of test cyp or eth 300 from a good source on eroids and run it for 10 weeks on your AL which would be Aromasin at 12.5mg a day and see how you feel with that dosage. if you feel after that cycle that it did not do much for you. You can always up your dosage and on your next cycle. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT. When you finish your cycle after 10 weeks make sure you have your PCT's lined up. Clomid and Nolva. When you get that point i can direct on dosages to take for PCT and how long you run them for.
Pm me if you need anything else at my man.
