Hello my name is Gsleepy and I have High Hematocrit.
So, now that I have confessed my sins i have a question.
The red cross emailed me and asked if I would donate platelets.
Will donating platelets lower my High Hematocrit? I already give blood every 2 months...

I just take it out myself and dump it down the toilet bro but yes donating platelets will lower hematocrit.

Not sure how a guy can give every two weeks and not look like a raisin!
How high can the iron level be before the Red Cross want let you donate? My local regular blood bank want take any bloodbath if the iron level is 54 or above.
I would find another blood bank
