+ 5 Dr. Aprroved TRT. Who is legit???
Ok, this question comes up often. Who here is on trt from an actual doctor( no clinics, no quacks, nothing off the internet)? Also, at what age did you start and why( primary/secondary, past steroid abuse).
My history:
Many years(+20) of SSRI use( not from my current doctor), pre diabetes in my 30s, metabolic syndrome 20s and 30s, Nafld( non alcoholic fatty liver disease) 20s and 30s. Basically I treated my body like shit, up until the age of 37( almost 46 now).
Lost 50 lbs, changed everything that I was before, I became the best version of myself possible. Stayed on this route until the age of 43. I broke 2 bones in my foot working out one day. My general practitioner really wondered why I broke my bones, so he was curious to see my testosterone and e2 levels. The test levels came back 284( probably secondary from SSRI use), it was his idea to see if I wanted to start TOT( testosterone optimum therapy). I was not sold on the idea and told him I would have to look into it and talk to my wife. I really didnt have any major low t symptoms, no ed, plenty of energy, my dog didnt want to hunt like it used to. But I'm 43 years old.
Well I spent the next 2 weeks talking to the wife, asking my doctor specific questions, and researching. Finally, I told him, I would try. I was very curious about if it didnt go well how I could get off of it. He assured me that was possible.
Best decision I've made in a long time, my health is spot on! I've reduce my zoloft use from 100mg a day down to 20 mg a day. The plan is to get rid of the shit completely. My body comp is pretty fucking good. Mental health is awesome.
Age 46
Trt dose +/- 135mg/week ( Prescribed by an actual gp)
Pin eod
6' tall 190lbs
Get bloods done every 6 months
PSA done every 2 years
Clean diet
Work out 7 days a week, many doubles too
My pictures are posted, my bloods are posted, I'm 100% transparent. I'm here to help people where I can, PERIOD.
I didnt choose this path, it choose me.
Fyi, never used/bought any ugl testosterone ever, all from Walmart.

Legit here. 250mg/wk. In my 40s. On since last year.
My test is at 146-165 according to a few tests done. Just started trt this week. Never did steroids in my life. Lost a bit of weight myself that I gained during coronavirus lockdowns, still working on it with a personal trainer and a large caloric deficit + high protein diet.
I'm on Dr trt, I'm 41 abused steroids in my mid 20s pretty hard 2-3 grams per week. I was 6'5" 325-330 benched 535. 38 waist 60 chest 21.5 arms .After juicing for 4 or so years cycling on and off from my mid 20s, I'd get off then start fucking with opiates n the wrong crowd of females n shit, drop down to 200lbs or so then clean up my act, get back on the program and gain my weight back, and back fucking with opiates again off and on over 20 years, around 35 y.o. I couldn't find out why I couldn't gain any weight back, finally after a few years of hot flashes up and down mental state I had enough, went and had a full panel test done and low and behold, my test serum was 0. I wasn't producing shit, mind you I'm in the process of cleaning my act up now from opiates ATM and haven't worked out in a few years now. I'm on actavis and or par pharmaceuticals test/androgel 1% 25mg packs right from CVS or Walgreens. I can take 1-4 a day at my discretion I usually take 2 in a split dose 1 in am and 1 in pm, I gained 70lbs back in 9 months without touching a weight, and it saved my life and mental state, still working on the libido part, but the opiates mess with that as well. I'm still working on that end. I beat my body up pretty good during my 20s-30s and paying for it now, but without trt I can't even guess where I would a been. Been a member here for almost 11 years now
51 years old. Never done any ped's at all, and never had my T tested until 51, which came back at 230ng/dl, then a month later at 260, then a month later at 330. Neither my regular doc, nor an Endo would prescribe me anything. They both used the same language to describe my level as "just a little low." The endo told me to try to improve my sleep quality and have a nice day. So I got a "real Doctor" who happens to also run an hrt clinic. He gave me a new lease on life whereas other "real" doctors strung me along for three months of tests only to end up telling me to have a nice day.
I work out daily 4 day split followed my 30 minutes of cardio every day.
My diet if very, very clean with the exception of a few too many beers most weekends.
My sleep magically fixed itself after starting trt.

Awesome, thanks for sharing.
History
In my late 20’s to early 30’s I lifted hard and ran test, deca, dbol. My body tolerance for test is awesome. Never even ran pct back then. I stopped because my ex wife started getting jealous. After I stopped I started running and climbing. I’ve been to the summit of over 150 mountains over 13k and 14k’. Placed in the top 10 for my age group in the Bolder/Boulder marathon a few times and in the top 7 at many other events.
At 43 I started to notice my body slowing down. Noticed that I was seldom “pole vaulting” out of bed in the mornings, and the girlfriend noticed I was becoming grumpy.
The doctor
I went to my long time PCP and told him I’d like to get on TRT. He just looked at me and said to ‘just embrace getting older’. My test level was at 260, very low, probably caused by my previous use and lack of pct. Went to a men’s clinic in Denver and they put me on a program. Felt awesome but the cost was insane, so I started self TRT a few years ago.
My old PCP retired a while back and the young lady that took his place has been monitoring my blood for the last year. After my appointment last Thursday (posted results on this site) she offered to do my TRT through her with prescription test and my insurance would cover it. I accepted and will run out the last of my UGL gear and go to prescription.
My current TRT self dose is .25ml M/T.
TRT is absolutely amazing.
Thanks for sharing! I own a 300 win mag and a 264 win mag myself.
I'm 29 and my levels were at 220 after years of opioid abuse.
I'm with trtnation now
My history:
After struggling for years, feeling like crap. I had a MRI. Doctor found that I have a empty sella, crush pituitary.
So after blood test they found out that I was low on testosterone. My axe was close to 0.
Weirdly I have never had problem to build muscle.
Doctor first put me on 250mg/a month of testo e. It was worst.
Then 125mg / 2 weeks. Better but crap after first week.
Then 125mg / week. Nice spot.
Now we are trying to lower it, and trying orther protocoles. In order to see what suits me the best.
I am trying also some UG testo. to compare with my pharma. testo E vs C, different esters, carier oils etc.
It is a long road. however it is for my health. Feel better than ever right now. Hope to say the same after years of trt.
Hardest part is to find a specialist for my problem, empty sella. I have not found a good one yet. So I keep visiting my family doctor and endo. Thanks to them.
Cheer up to who ever has to go this route.

Not to beat a dead horse, but you choose not to answer the questions. Once again Rusty, this takes away from your credibility. Especially when you preach, but it appears you don't walk the walk. Its even worse, you ignore it.
Respect for me comes from honesty, integrity, humility, and decency.
Ha, I dont even know what the fuck that means.
And I was valedictorian and most scholastic in my highschool. I'm an Licensed professional enginner( design and build bridges for a living).
Ps my grammar sucks and I'm a bit drunk.

Molinin302I'm glad you posted the link so the rest of the comments can be seen. I care man, do you not see this? You're pumping your body full of drugs, not working out, and 215lbs at 5'4"? You should be on a high level stage. I know you don't believe this, but I profess health here, and I care, even for midgets. What are you doing to yourself? Put up a pic of you tonight? I did when called out by you. I mean, bro, are you ok? Can't wait till you jump on that tren. (For the record, I haven't negged you) and again, Masteron was not R&D'd, marketed, and prescribed as a cancer medication that acts as an estrogen blocker? Take your issues with me out of your contributions to the community. It would serve all well. Now take a pic tubby.
He need to take the shirt off and show us the tits! Lol.
Come on Rusty, cant we be friends?

Molinin302Easy now, the bone is solid as they come. I know you're riled up, but thats a stand up guy right there.
I call him " the most underrated member" on eroids! I have nothing but respect for the tboner.
Molinin30245yo, history of SSRI, but what messed me up was anxiety meds. 4mg+ daily of Klonopin for anxiety/anger issues. My physician put me through a very thorough physical at the age of 40, there were a few things out of whack, I was drinking and not eating well, not exercising at the time. Nothing was crazy, but there was a lot of improvement to be made. I had a blood draw where I was legally intoxicated at 9:00AM. I'm not proud of that. Long story short and I'll spare the withdrawal stories, but my testosterone fell 425 points in about 18mo after the near fatal incidents. My doc sent me to specialists, endo who also referred me to a urologist, what did they want me to do? Go back on SSRI and benzodiazipines, but with viagra for the ED. I didn't disclose my addiction issues as these docs were in network and should've taken notice, but my network pushes the aforementioned medications. Most people I know that are in this network are on some form of mood altering medication. So I declined that treatment and went clinic. Best move I made. And my physician ran my bloods after all this (not drinking and back to the gym at this point), and was very very impressed with the results. I'm due for a physical, and he's a great doc. I'm pretty confident at this point as long as bloods come back as favorable as last time he will probably prescribe. Definitely going to have to put the smokes down for good lol, they're poison.

Molinin302I try to keep things very simple, four may be too many, so even though they change from time to time, I adjust to three core values. Currently it's humility, transparency, and appreciation.
