Best for weight loss

ad

I'm 43 , and I am wondering which of the common test are better for weight loss if weight gain is caused by low t.

The most commonly used tests for weight loss caused by low testosterone levels are hormone tests, such as the Total Testosterone and Free Testosterone tests. These tests measure the amount of testosterone that your body is producing. Other tests that can be used include a CBC (complete blood count) and a lipid panel to check cholesterol levels.

I think you mis-understood his question,............ but along that thought, the weight scale test is king in determining if your gaining or not. LOL

I am 41 - (female) got my test checked for the first time a few months back. It was so low it was not able to be measured! (under 3) I had no idea that was why I was so tired and lethargic all of the time and couldn't seem to improve my weight no matter what I did. I had no power/no energy. Started small on Test P....2 x wk. Also changed diet. Eat (real food) 5 times a day. I cut out all processed foods. Prep 2 x a week. Meals are basic however it works. Eat every 2 to 3 hours. Measure everything. Only sugar intake is honey and organic acai sorbet. There is a science to it. I hired a coach to tell me how many fat/protien/carbs/calories - etc. I train 5 days a week however due to work I had to backoff for a while....keeping same food intake - I still maintained. For me food was number 1. Number 2....movement at whatever you body will allow.

Plan your meals. Try to plan your breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the week, making sure you stick to your calorie allowance.
Let's move your body. Do more exercises. It can help you lose weight faster.
Try going to the gym three to four times a week to lift weights
If lifting weights is not an option for you, doing some cardio workouts such as walking, jogging, running, cycling, or swimming is very beneficial for weight loss and general health.

diet and more exercise is the best "test" for weight loss. Did you get bloodwork or see a doctor about this low T or are you just using the old lazy, lack of libido, sluggish method of auto assuming its test related?

Yes , I found out I had low T and low calcium levels in 2019 . My t level count was around 190 . I was prescribed the gel packs that did very little if anything . I have been checked several times since and I am always under 200 .

Pirateking's picture

Yes I did the gel the testogel from Bayer but it wasn't super steady like with the injections

RW1125's picture

Thats what ive been told . I have already tried the doctor and they believe in the gel packs or the once every two weeks shot .

Under 200 is low. If you're seeing a family doc, try looking up HRT or TRT clinics in your area. They'll get you what you need. But I'm with others....what you look like is 70% diet. So get that squared away first.

Test Di(et) ,...... this is a testosterone that you take orally, 15mg per day instead of food.

You will probably need to ask a source for it because they don't openly list it because of its wonderful properties. You will feel a little hungry from not eating, but it is all about will power.

Do you know if you have low T?

RW1125's picture

yes sir , I was checked in 2019 at docs office and was under 200 . My docs office put me on the gel packs that did very little . In early to mid 2020 I went to another doctor and this time i was put on a once every two week injection . There was no significant improvement

Makwa's picture

What were your levels after injections? What was your dose?

It’s going to come down to diet

Go see an endocrinologist, get bloodwork and get a prescription. Test is test, not going to be much difference.
