Hi, my first post. Not sure what to do. Doctor prescribed me Androgel, and my wife picked up the script. It was $440 bucks. This is not something that I can sustain financially and I would like to recoup some money spent on this. Looking to get any suggestions. Appreciate the feedback and help.

You know, at this point you might as well call it a day and set up an eBay or craigslist account.

For the suggestion finish the gel. In the meantime tell your doctor you and your wife are afraid of transfer to your wife and kids. (google the product)
Androgel is the "go to" product because doctors think most don't want to get weekly shots or to do it themselves. Simply say you are not afraid of needles and would like it if a nurse can show you and your wife how to self administer an injection.
Just tell your doctor you will struggle to afford it and he or she might change your script. Of course that depends on how low you are to begin with as well as any other medical conditions. Most of the time it is prescribed due to an underlying condition.

No don't just start pinning test every day. Research: read up on AAS, speak to your MD, check your BMI, blood pressure, liver values, E2 and test levels, get your diet in check and figure out what your goals are and create a protocol that works for you, start small.

This is not the forum to try to "unload" your stash that you don't want.
Androgel is also not the preferred method of TRT as it is virtually impossible to maintain even blood levels so regardless of price you should avoid this product. I agree with Generator and ask for injectable test next time.
Again, I encourage you read the forum rules and if you continue this course of action you will be in Ban-City shortly. Quite honestly , I would edit that part out of this post as soon as possible.
Actually, androgel is the preferred trt method. It is just like an acetate as it is in and out of your system fast. The reason why its not being preferred is the cost. It could be very expensive if you have to pump it multiple times a day to get your level.
Tell your Dr. injectable test next time, put the gel in your trash bin and move on.
