Advice for a newbie just turned 40?
Hi everyone. I just joined and have been lurking around and trying to learn as much as I can. I'm a total newbie so there's almost too much info here that I don't even know where to begin! =)
Anyway, I just turned 40 and physically, I don't feel the same anymore. I find it much harder to recover from exercise, my mood hasn't been so good lately (almost like a depressed kind of feeling) and my muscle mass and strength seems to have decreased a bit and my sleep isn't as good as it used to be. I saw a doc at an anti-aging clinic and he recommended HGH and Testosterone after my blood test showed low levels of both. (IGF-1 in the low 100's and Free Test. about 9 if I remember correctly. Don't have the results here with me.)
My goal is have more physical strength and recover more quickly from exercise. I play tennis and used to play 4-5 days a week without any issues. Now, it's hard to recover even if I play just 3 days. Also in this past year and half I've lost about 8lbs and even with weight training, I cant seem to make any gains. It's so frustrating! I'm 5'8" and only 130lbs. I guess the only plus is that I have hardly any fat at all on my body. =)
I just ordered some Norditropin from a source on this forum and waiting for it to come. Do you guys recommend anything else? I was going to add Testosterone but don't know anything about it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

AnonI'm the same height and age as you, I've been training all my life, been on and off gear for the last 20 odd years. I've been on approximately for the last 2 years. My dosage is not consistent so I wouldn't be a good judge on dosage, however I do kind of live on variants of test and a bit of mast (I Have been boxing for years and years, and it's great for that!) and when I have $$ HGH. I do however religiously take HCG about 300 IUs twice a week (give or take), and have done for the last 4 years when I've been on, and in my book works wonders!
You haven't mentioned any history with regards to body-building or gaining mass, so will take it for granted that you haven't . As previous poster have suggested. High calorie (clean-ish), and high protein intake . I'm a sinner, I don't eat terribly clean, but try to, and keep a high protein intake and macro-nutrients alongside a few other day to day supps (not a must).
If you have the $$ and can afford HGH alongside some variant of test with HCG, then that is what I would suggest, and you do not need (in my books), large doses of HGH, I sometimes stay on as low as 2 IUs a day and notice the difference quite a bit alongside the Test. I probably cruise at about 1/2 a gram to a gram a week of test, but as I said I'm a long term user, and that might not apply to you. Sleep and rest, and a trying to de-stress also helps (not sure if we can these days!) :-) Anyway, I hope I might have re-affirmed what some of the earlier posters have mentioned, and feel free to throw any Qs my way :-)
I turned 40 just last year. I have been on test cypionate for about 2 years at 180mg a week, I also do hcg 250iu eod and have experienced fantastic results. I just started 2-3 iu day of hgh in November and feel like I found the fountain of youth. Start low on hgh, the sides are not fun, otherwise, I love my new regimen. Sleep is better, skin is better, strength is up and waist is down. Good luck bro
I just sent you a friend request. How long did it take before you noticed results on the hGH? Which one are you using? I just started 4 days ago and so far cant really say I feel anything yet, except really sleepy on two of those days and really bad bruising once after injection. I feel like I don't have enough fat on my body to inject into. LOL. It's kind painful. How far in do you push the needle? I might be not pushing it in far enough. I'm using the Easy-touch 31 gauge needles. 1IU per day Norditropin. I've heard about joint pain being one of the side-effects? Anyone here have that problem or any other side-effects? But I've also heard of people getting relief from joint problems after starting hGH and it helping to heal injuries more quickly...
I get elitropin locally, I've been using it for just over two months. I started at 2 iu a day and didn't feel much so I jumped 3/5 a day. WOW! I gained a ton of water, had pitting Edina in my Lowe legs, high blood pressure, major loins pain, not much fun at all. More isn't always better.... I backed. Way off and all the sides are gone now. I'm at 2.5iu day, I sleep better, I've lost some belly fat, veins are piping out. It really is the fountain of youth.
Get it from your script. Pharma grade is consistent and you will avoid other "issues."
it's way too expensive with an rx, which is why i'm on here trying to get stuff without being ridiculously ripped off. I don't have insurance. only emergency insurance.
do you guys have any specific recommendations on dosage and which testosterone specifically? or even a source for the testosterone? i'm planning on starting off with just 1iu for the nordi when it comes.
but don't know anything about testosterone. thanks again.
HGH and test are synergistic and it's hard to beat the combo.
As for looking for a source, you can't go wrong with any in the top ten here.
You are quite thin. How many calories do you eat in a day?
lately (the past 2 years or so), my appetite just isn't that great. I would say I take in about 2000 cal a day. I have a very small frame which is a big part of why my weight is so low. but i'm pretty cut for a thin guy. I just wish I had another 10-15 lbs on my frame (which is where I was when I was in my 20's). lately I've been having joint issues too - a lot of it from tennis injuries, but just in general my joints seem to hurt more than before. and even doing things like barbell curls, or push-ups/ bench press hurt my shoulder. and squats hurt my knees. i'm also recovering from an bad ankle injury. feels like my body is just falling apart! lol. aging sucks....
do you have any recommendations on which specific testosterone and dosage? the sources don't like to give advice on that. what's a good "beginner" starting point for hgh and test.?
You can take all the steroids in the world, but if you don't drastically increase your calorie count, you won't gain anything. You need to come up with a solid weight gaining diet.
As for a dose, 500 mg a week of test-c or test-e is standard. I think for your size, that would be overkill. 300mg a week, split twice a week would be good. You need to go into the other forums and do some research on begging cycles and use the search button. Research AI and PCT as well. You can also request me as a friend and then PM me with any questions.
X2 You need to eat man. I don't mean 3 times a day either. This is what you need first and foremost.

test and gh will go a looong way
Can't you get this stuff from your DR,? An RX sounds like the best way to get these kinds of things.
