AAS & Scar tissue
Posting this over here as us OF's are more likely to have accumulated some bumps, bruises and scar tissue over the years. Anyways, heres the short version. 20+ years driving otr before retiring a couple years ago. Back when I started you weren't a trucker if you didn't have the big wallet hanging off the chain. Add into that driving more than a few trucks with the seats being completely worn out, and I eventually developed scar tissue above both hips. The one on the right being way worse than the one on the left. The docs and chiros said it was scar tissue from sitting on the wallet and bad seats for all those years. Tried all kinds of things (massage, ultrasound, heat/ice therapy, etc) everything but actually going in and having it cut out. When the GF would knead on it she would actually worry she was hurting me it felt so solid. The other night she was working my back and pointed out the knots had changed (she is a RN and actively helping me monitor this cycle). 3 injections into a cycle now and the one on the right has gone from half dollar sized and rock solid to just bigger than a quarter and is actually pliable again. The one on the left has gone from being a solid quarter sized knot to completely gone. Anyone else experienced anything along these lines?

Anonno, but I am looking at a lot of anecdotal information regarding test/deca and how prolonged use helps heal surgery incinsions etc.. it seems awful soon for the cycle to have done anything to the scar tissue and I have yet to find anything difinitive on old injuries/scar tissiue etc that have been helped by running test. That said, I don't think it is not within the realm of possibility. What else has changed since you started your cycle?
Other than an increase in calories not much. Still start the day with a cup of coffee and the computer somewhere between 6 and 7am. Out the door and running by 830 (construction is starting to get into swing again here) and then home and back on the computer til 10 or so doing paperwork (gotta love being self-employed!!). Gym 4x a week and thats it. I'm seeing some increases at the gym, strength and recovery wise, and am up 3.5 lbs, which (I assume) is mostly water retention this early in. Bloodwork shows a jump in Serum and Free already (2 workups done out of 5 planned... (1 pre, 1 starting, 1 mid, 1 finishing and 1 post)Pre cycle levels were actually in the low range). The only change is the T-levels serum >1500 and free @53 (with base being 5-21). As I said in the original, the GF is the one who pointed out the change in size/how solid they were the other night, as after all the years of having them I had just more or less tuned the knots out. I'd seen some anecdotal stuff along the same lines on healing and such, but hadn't seen anything on older damage. The only thing I can figure (this is just my thoughts/opinion) is since the scar tissue was internal, that maybe the tissue was not 100% dead and as such with the injections being done in the glutes right below then areas, that the tissue is starting to try and regenerate. Either way, I am not complaining LOL! The only other changes since starting are feeling more positive on life (mentally) and an increase in sexdrive, which was not totally unexpected. This is just an added bonus!
On a side note, I actually ended up finding this forum when doing research on low T levels and TRT. Several years ago, during a physical, the Dr diagnosed a mass on one of the boys and at one point they actually were looking at taking it and doing a biopsy. They ended up doing a bunch of tests and calling it a cyst and saying I would be fine with just one functioning. Since then I went from a 34 waist and 230lbs to a high at one point of a 42 waist and 310lbs. I finally got back to 250-260 38 waist and stayed stuck there for several years (and had to work my ass off to stay at that level, any change in diet, gym time, etc and I started gaining unwanted weight). It was only late last year, after the GF and I talked about some "performance issues" (let's just say Johnny would stand for the performance but he didn't want to applaud at the end) that being low actually came up (she was unaware of the previous medical issue) and I started researching on the subject. The more I researched the more it seemed that being low was likely the issue. At that point I decided (with the GF's support) that if I was going to have to add T, I would actually do a few cycles and try and get back some of the muscle I had years ago when I first started throwing chains and tarps around for a living.
Anondoes the increase in calories reflect better choices in food quality? although with the injections so close it would be difficult to say that much else is responsible for the changes..
Not really any change in quality, more a change in quantity. Fresh greens for veggies (Broccoli, spinach and asparagus primarily as they are my 3 favorite greens) mainly chicken for the meats altho I do sneak some lean beef in at times. Whole grain breads and low carb pasta (friend of mine thats diabetic turned me onto it) when I cheat and get away from the really good for you stuff. If/when I snack its usually some smoked salmon or dried strawberries... maybe if I am in a real rush, a protein shake.
No brother nothing like that but i will say this, You're a lucky guy to have a lady who will work out some of the kinks. I have some spinal injuries that leave me super tight after working out and for the life of me I almost have to bribe my wife for a massage. Once i started my TRT I did notice my flexibility and overall body pain subside. I think it is just a matter of being more physically active and loosening up the old scar tissue. I work at a hospital in an older community and see a lot of older patients who can barely move anymore. all the ones who move really well all say they walk on a regular basis, I truly believe in the "Move it or lose it!" 20 yrs OTR will leave u all twisted up I'm sure:-)
GS9 when I get home from working out my wife makes me rub her feet, legs, and back. You would think she did the workout lol
