+ 1 A unique situation for an almost 40yo professional

ad

Without getting into the specifics of it, I am about 1 month away from finishing a 4-month long primo cycle.

The end of the year is going to be hell for a variety of reasons, and I am dreading having any downtime for PCT. I've stacked up on boatloads of hcg, clomid, nolvadex, and tranquilizers, but I am seriously considering doing the TRT route, which I have never done before.

I am 37 years old, been training for well over a decade. Many cycles under my belt, and always did PCT. This 16-week cycle is my longest ever - never did it longer than 12, which is a concern.

I suppose it's getting to be TRT time anyway, so what the hell. But, I'm thinking I'd like to just do 100mg of a week of test until my next cycling time and then do a heavy Dr. Scally PCT after that.

Honest feedback, please.

I was on a 12 week tren, test cycle and my cycle ended a week before I was to be married. I went right from cycle to TRT running 150 mg a week of test enth, and arimidex for the last 3 years. I do get blood work done, and after my labs came back showing my Hematocrit levels at 57%. I have to drop a pint of blood a month to keep the red blood cell count down.

Im 10 years older than you and understand. After the countless hours spent on here reading and researching, I opted for more of the blast and cruise style. I compete occasionally and have lifted my entire life. I spoke to many docs in this area and have yet to find one that will sit down and come up with a decent trt program. Most just don't want to deal with it( due to how educated most of us are. I went in with full bloodwork and the look on docs face is like"this will be more trouble than its worth"). Such is life. But it sure is nice to feel 20 at 47.

Patience is the key to this one! And please, keep this post updated in the future weeks & months. I know you've said you'll be busy this winter, but seriously, help us learn from your experiences in the coming half year, please!

You may be suprised how your body will recover from the cycle. I am 37 as well, and I was convinced that after my most recent cycle I would do bloods, and go the trt route through an endo. My previous offcycle T level was 520 few years ago....during a long break from aas, and heavy training. Just received results from my 5 week post pct labs and I am at 853. Quite a recovery. I am pleasantly suprised honestly because as mentioned below a lifetime of weekly pins has several negatives.

IMO do as below. PCT now, check labs, then make decision based on actual data...if you guess at it, you could be very wrong as I was.

I am right there with you. I know TRT is closing in anyway and maintaining is tough with just natty test.

How about a full pct 1st, then after get your bloods drawn. If they are low then see an endo and do it the right way. Its all fun and games until you have to pin for the rest of your life and self.medicating leaves you wide open for le, infections from bad ugl, and other problems that could happen. You wont lose what you worked for unless you get sloppy, the aas is not going to magically help you keep what you accomplished especially at low dose. Dont try and take shortcuts for the sake of vanity.
