I’ve heard of boxing schools popping up with childrens classes. I wrestled, played football, and baseball through grade school and high school. Some Karate from 10 years old to 12, but didn’t start Tae Kwon Do until 18, BBJ at 27. I would have loved to join a boxing school, but they were all located in undesirable parts of the city, so it was discouraged by my pussy friends. I shouldn’t have listened, although I’m happy I’m not brain dead now, LOL.
Yeah it's definitely a blessing and a curse. I mean think about it, I know they were pros but listen to Holyfield, Holmes, Norton, Hearns, Riddick Bowe, and the late Marvin Frazier. They all had a bad slur when they spoke. Not to mention Muhammad Ali with his Parkinson's disease. Those punches add up over time no doubt. If someone doesn't believe this then go listen to any of those guys talk. It's sad.
I’ve never been badly hurt in competitive sports, thank god. Although, I’ve had a embarrassing amount of street/bar fights. I’ve taken a few beatings and given many. Some definitely left some physical and mental scars. Deep down, i know i got permanent mental damage from a few. I can only imagine how damaging boxing and MMA can be. How about these Power Slap morons though? You’ve gotta know going in that you ain’t gonna be right no more after that bullshit, LOL!!! WTF????? My wife loves it, while I watch along in complete awe that any human being can be that fucking stupid. SMH

Half his face was pure trash man, it was discolored and severely disfigured, even Rusty would of collected it as trash for his job! They said he went to the hospital and did a scan. Doctors found that he had brain bleeding and swelling. All that for what,maybe a few hundred bucks? Hell I'll whip some ass and give out that amount of money lol. I'll do it the easy way!

Not thst anyone knows what that is) Id eat there candy bars and drink there cokes and put the garbage back in there buckets. They finally figured it out. Resulted in four guys in the 300 lb range on top of me while the lityle ine shoved a screw driver up my ass. Nohomo

I’ve taught lots of kids as young as 6 judo and BJJ over the years. Competition at those young age groups is extremely controlled and referees are very good. I’d hope this is in the same mindset, but I get the impression, worryingly, that it’s not.

This is society though. Heck just the other day I saw a story on the news where this elementary school teacher would lock her classroom door and have the kids fight as if it were some special recess. It sickened my damn stomach. I seriously couldn't eat afterwards.

I couldn’t compete until I reached orange belt, American Kenpo. And that was full gear. Less gear was brown belt, full contact was black belt and above. I had my orange belt by 13. I don’t regret the physical contact. My football friends wound up with much greater injuries. Some in bad shape by the end of high school. You’ve never taken a good punch to the face have ya? It’s not so bad, almost sobering.
I'd rather give a good punch than take one! However the few punches that I did take as a youngster really hurt. I can vaguely remember one to the eye socket and another punch to my ear! Still can't hear clearly out of the damn thing! Both were sucker punches. I will admit, both kids ended up on the ground afterwards lol. Horrible memories
