Music is incredibly important for a solid balls to walls workout. It def pumps me up more than caffeine preworkout and gets the mind set right. Personally I hate headphones and earbuds though. Always gets in the way. I like a bit of everything but droppin the bass low as fuck and listen to Skrillex on my loud ass speakers is how I like to train. Bass and plates dropping. Beats up to 140/bpm. Beautiful!
I like some rap some hard rock and some EDM when I train
Im interested in hearing what some of our ADV, PRO, MODS and source members listen to when they train.
I dont even listen to EDM outside the gym but during a workout its the shit.

Anonwhen i listen to music i like some metallica but many times i just woke up and i am a lil pissed cause i didnt get none the night before. Gave me aggression in the gym

I listen to my spotter bro...... thats important to get the max out of each and every job i do in the gym!...... zoning into music and being deaf to our surroundings can make us wreckless.

Same here. Though I do have to tolerate whatever horrid crap the gym is playing.

Man, you gotta admit VH with Hagar did have some good tunes (not all). Summer Nights rocks like hell!
Of course man and summer nights is definitely a good jam but without Diamond Dave at the helm its just not the same for me.....I remember when I 1st saw the to hot for teacher video when I was a kid. "This shit is awesome" was all I thought. ..lol
I was like 11 when 1984 came out, that album blew my mind. And yes, I agree Diamond Dave is and always will be #1. If they would have called themselves anything besides Van Halen the Van Hagar band would be a lot more celebrated than they are. In my opinion, anyway.
You must know my pops because he says the same thing! He's an old head from the late 70's and 80's...lol

It's all about house and techno for me. When I'm lifting heavy, I throw on some drum and bass. Old school rave/club dj right here.
