Thought I'd help you get Karma?
Here's to our beloved group that has a good amount of karma and is always bumping each other for stupid shit:
Once upon a time, I got my hand smacked for feeding into some bullshit from a member that wanted me to "show him some love" and give him karma. Some here may remember and know who I'm talking about. Not here to dredge up the past, but to touch base on the topic and how much you fuckers piss me off.
We all know what karma score means. It means a lot less today than it used to because of the abuse and senseless points being given. Personally, I don't give a shit if someone ordered or was offered a single bottle of prop. That shit doesn't merit giving any points in my opinion. But if you think it does, by all means give it.
So that this doesn't turn into a long rant about karma, I'll sum it up with the reason I wrote this:
The group I mentioned in the first paragraph... Y'all think that karma score gives you a status? It's really a matter of perception. You perceive a sense of status, but in fact, everyone sees the same group always bumping people for every stupid thing. Some worthy and some not. We also see you always bumping each other. If you wanna whore it up, do what you do. But next time you send you group messages to your clique wanting karma for the pic you posted, don't waste your time adding my fucking name.
I ain't bumping shit that don't deserve it. If you have to ask for the bump, you don't deserve it. If you have to insinuate the bump, you don't deserve it. If no thought goes into your threads or posts, you don't deserve it. If your thread or post isn't helping someone, you don't deserve it. And if you and your homies always bumping each other, you sure as fuck don't deserve it. Instead, how about putting some thought into your posts, trying to help people, trying to learn, and not parroting what you've read and haven't done. It's contributions that make this place what it is and merit the points you get. Used to, that was the only way you got them.
Enough of my shit. Don't worry: I ain't gonna call your names, but take that shit somewhere else, ya dig?

I had no idea people would PM others to karma up their pics. I honestly just assumed everyone else here are addicts just like me making the site rounds 4-10 times a day, lol.
I also do not like it when someone with one cycle starts parroting advanced advice, it is fake and dangerous. I only have one cycle under my belt, the only things I will speak of are my own experiences.
From what I have seen here since I started lurking and then joined is the mods always catch up with those that try gaming this site. Not one of them are stupid, on the contrary, they are in fact very savvy.
I so agree with you on this post...I personally have my own issues with karma and gaining points undeservingly....I really can't stand when someone pm's me to look at their pics which forces me to have to give out karma which quite often I wld not have given out...I too feel hard work or even effort should be rewarded...imo you don't need to look like a greek god for me to give you karma you just need to be "trying" to better yourself in some way, shape or form....I have busted my ass for 20 years without gear to make the gains that I have. i've studied and researched for millions of hours...I've lived the sweat and pain of it all... so whatever karma I have I deserve...I could post pics of my vagina, my breasts, my naked ass or even my asshole and blow up my karma but that's just cheating...
Idk if I'd bump you for a pic of your asshole...
lmao!! no pun intended
AnonI'd totally +1 you for that.
AnonLets not forget that there was a time when the "off topic" section could earn a person karma . I remember seeing something as simple as a well placed "BOOM " earning a point
Posting self pics is participating, it allows others to see what you are doing, how you are changing and perhaps what you are trying to look like. I think self pics are a valuable contribution.
Gear pics show the varieties of products a person has bought, and most likely used. It gives a valuable insight in to whether or not they can vouch for a source . Gear pics help validate rev iews and also help promote the sources weve had good experiences with. They are vluable contributions.
Lab test pics are perhaps one of the most valuable contributions, it shows the evidence regarding those products shown in the other pics. It lets us know the member is serious enough about this to get blood tests, and eliminates the " Gear is fire I feel strong " assessment .
The problem is you guys who have amazing amounts of knowledge (yes you Doss, and others) are letting your self get far too bent over someone with less knowledge (yes me and others) who have a higher karma rating. Im not trying to pass my self off ever as an expert. I have knowledge in certain areas that are applicable to me, and thats through research and usage, but guys like you have a far broader scope than that. Still I am happy to share what I do know, I am happy to participate in any way I can. To me participation is what makes this site tick .
A wizard at anabolics who does not participate doesnt do me or anyone any good , so he may have a low karma score as a result.
Karma to me is more a representation of participation and the desire to work as a team. Not a representation of having a "Masters in roids "
boom!!!! lmao!!!! bump!!! lol ???? please sir can i have some more hahahahahahahahaha!!!!
RustyhookerI can see where you're getting pissed. Lotta dudes with 1 cycle yet leveled up like many years of use/advice given. Eventually its gonna screw up various aspects of the site. Forums posted, helping folks, and bustin ass is the real dudes on here. The folks i ask help/advice from.
From what I see now posting self pics = rapid karma increase. That seems to be the main difference from when I arrived.
RustyhookerIf ya bust ass and pop up huge...gotta applaud
AnonYou should a posted this in General so I coulda given you some Karma ;) ;)

To touch on what Pank and Doss said below I believe karma does go around and is self correcting over the long hall. I see people with a whole lot more karma points then me talk about things they have no clue or personal experience with also the picture groups bumping each other for posting pics of gear. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with posting pictures of your gear to represent your favorite source but to post seven pictures of different gear from that source just to get points is bullshit. I do want to go on record and say I see nothing wrong with wife day especially since those pics are posted in a private group and as far as I know you cannot give points there so it is all just for grins. Not to get points.
Lastly I think that a little investigating of a person and their karma goes a long way. What I mean is just because someone has 260 points doesn't make them an expert on every compound or cycle. After talking with someone for a bit you can tell who has earned their karma through contribution of experience and careful non-parroted research and who earned them by talking a lot. Just look at a persons forums they have written compared to their comments and you will see what I am talking about.
Oh....can someone give me me a +1 for this please....I really appreciate it!
No1Im not talking about wife day, I see them all the time in ''self shots''
cbrant10+1 lol
Why did they piss you off so much if you once did it??Everyone has got to learn and we all start at the beginning. You should let them know how you feel through pm cause they might not even see this thread.
Difference between my case and them is that I gave into someone's whining for points. These cats run around like a lil clique. And some have already been knocked down for it. Funny how people that don't contribute much can gain 100 points in less than a week. Now I see how.
Everyone sees that shit too. I've been here for 8 months and posted over 800 times. I'm fairly active here and I've been amazed at how some guys pick up karma. Ill be damned if I ever send anyone a pm asking for it.
Eh there are several guys who just spam pictures 12+ or more for each one.. I never have seen that as helpful to the community.. Just figured every one knew who knows their shit and who doesn't but this is misleading for new members.. They see a big number and assume the guy knows more.. History will prlly repeat itself and karma will be deducted for karma whoring
No1Yep, guys posting pics of their girls ass and tits because they know they will get karma for it, really why else would you show your girl like that on the internet to a bunch of other dudes
I was thinking about just gear picts where someone posts a certain brand and walks away with 12+ where as another guy will post the exact same brand and get a few points.. But you make a valid point lmao
Actually I think what you wrote is good but irrelevant to post here. Naming specific names sends a message or confronting each person you are talking about sends the message. A while back a someone tried to pull some underhanded shit with me that was a clear violation of the rules. So I reported this to a mod the mod thank me and said "Don't worry the person will not know where this came from". I told the mod I have no problem with them knowing it was me, what I say in private about someone as far as I am concerned I stand by it publicly. This is my opinion brother but I personally think a far better way then letting people guess or even start a whole gossip rumor mill on who it is.
I could've easily replied to or ignored the message. This was for the group I'm referring to, since they know who they are, as well as for the newer members that may start following their lead. Although i dont care for this whoring shit, I like some of these cats and have no respect for the others. This sort of thing can start a chain reaction that can effect everyone.
Yes I agree that is a good point. It would be good if we can handle this on a members level without even having to have the mods engage it as they have enough bullshit to sift through. I guess all I would add is if they don't get this anonymous point I would blast on them privately first and if they don't respond then publicly because any who have been here should know better. I do agree with your sentiment. Every time a mod has to blast away in large red letters it does make the passer by to Eroids think we are all pathetic idiots that have no self control. If we were to govern ourselves better I believe it would be to all of our benefits.
Couldn't hurt haha
