The Matrix has you! Internet security
Hay brothers, and sisters of course! So I've been reading a lot of posts over the last few months and something which doesn't seem to be covered in great detail is security, especially for new members. I joined eroids having previously done everything through the tor network, also known as the darknet (the normal Internet being the clearnet) For anyone who doesn't know the darknet is basically a network of computers who get together to bounce the connection through multiple servers all over the world in order to protect the identity of the originating host i.e. you! The tor network is generally regarded as the most secure route online as far as keeping your identity anonymous goes and it's used by people in countries where the government oppress the freedoms of its people where otherwise they would be afraid to speak up. A word of warning, it's one of the most dangerous places online for the uninitiated and is full of nasty shit, hackers and scammers. But because of this they are nuts about security like pgp encryption and two factor authentication. So my question is simple, what do you do to keep yourself secure online? Let's share some best practices! NB do not disclose anything about source stealth methods or anything personal about yourself! Keep it high level, po boxes, encryption etc.
As a final thought, have the community ever considered taking this site dark?

With that said, Tor or other forms of the onion browser (multiple mobile versions of the guardian project) are a good safe bet. But not by itself. Use a good VPN along with it. There are theories out there that they can and do just remotely turn on your phones camera and mic when they feel like it. Who knows
TOR is like a puzzle. But all puzzles can be solved. It's just a matter of time. The only thing we can do is grow, the puzzle gets bigger and harder to solve. But one thing we don't have on our side is T I M E ...

True, but too many people seem to assume using Tor and Bitcoin somehow makes them anonymous... It doesn't... It makes it more difficult to track you, but it can be done and has been done.

I didnt think it was illegal to post comments on a public internet forum discussing anything.. Especially since nothing I post on here is real. I give out fake information, all my pictures are of someone else, and any gear pics I got from google images. So really I do not give a fuck who knows I am on this site.

Not my intention at all brother. That's why I made it clear to keep it high level. For example: I keep my profile on eroids high level, I would want a source to have a pgp key for encryption and use a mail server that operates a diskless policy like countermail so there is nothing for anyone to seize and I would deliver to a po box instead of to my home. When ordering anything I would do so via the tor network so there is no way to trace my IP address back to me. My goal with this post is to keep people safe not spoon feed LE. If you go to any darknet site they have entire sections of their forum dedicated to this topic. Just wanted to get the conversation going bro.

1) Place a higher search ratio on packages bound for PO boxes. Check
2) Verify potential sources and clients by monitoring high volume of encrypted packets going to and from the same mail domains. Check
