“The Pope of Greenwich Village”
Bad boys. Not the one with will smith. The one from the 80s with Sean penn.
Thats a classic. Esp with the quarters in the sock beating and the radio rigged to blow up in the dudes face.
I may have to watch this today - sure I haven't seen it before.
Do it. It’s really really good. Seriously.
It was soda cans in a pillow case
Thats right. Now depending were they serve time they use a lock in a sock.
RIP Ennio Morricone.
Truth.
Just finished 3 seasons on Netflix of a series called "Dark".
It starts off simple as a child missing then children dead. Then it gets deep into worm holes, dark holes and time travel. How time isnt linear.
It is based from mathematical theories and done in a cool fashion.
Not some back to the future, or step into a phone booth time travel nonsense.
Watched the first 5 or so episodes, starts off slow but I’ve heard great things about it. Need to get back on it when I have time
Great Film that was just on Sky that I watched again!! Lol - Patriot Games .......
Operation Odessa on Netflix!
$$Miami Vice meets Russian mob & Cali Cartel$$
For some reason on Netflix's it doesn't tell me that the movie/series is in another language. Which is either subtitled or horrible dubbed over in English.
It usually take time to find something decent and then I start to watch it and get pissed because of the reason above.
'I don't care what it cost's - Call the Russian .....'
lol bro I'm a movie buff you cant get one past me.
Thats " The Punisher"
'The only problem is Quentin is that you have too much Damn furniture!' ......
Damn it ok ok you got me I don't know that one.
'Order the launch General Sir .......'
Its in the same film mate .....
When Howard goes to Quentins apartment to kill him in the lounge and he's kicking the chairs away.
'Howard - Quentin was gay!! You'd say anything .......
Your mother took a train LMAO ......
Which "The Punisher" movie did you enjoy best???
Defo the John Travolta one - although the second is still good, more brutal .....
I forget which one. But it was dark and violent.
Sounds like the second one where you have the guy that escapes from the mental hospital and enjoys eating people when he has killed them? lol
How about documentaries or mini series? The Star Wars Mandalorian series is kind of cool! I was a big Boba Fett fan
Mandalorian and The Boys are the 2 best shows from 2019!
Ah dude The Mandalorian is a piece of genius .
The Baby Yoda bits put it over the top .
I saw a guy at the gym today with the baby Yoda tattoo on his leg! The world has gone nuts for baby Yoda.
lol Tha'ts kinda weird my ex girlfriend just got a baby yoda tattoo on her shoulder.
10 points for who said 'Sweep the leg' .....
I wanted to say Napoleon Dynamite , but I think its The Karate Kid.
Nah the line from Napoleon Dynamite is " Break the wrist , Walk Away "
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jn2tC2XT-FU
You are correct Danial son, the technique of Cobra Kai Lol
Can you believe this - Ralph Macchio who played The Karate kid is now 58 years old, he must have been a lot older than he actually looked in the film.

NOOOOoooo ..... Joel Schumacher who Directed the Lost Boys, Falling Down & Batman Forever died today:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-8448321/Joel-Schumacher-di...
Lost Boy's was an Awesome film & Falling Down
“The good the bad the ugly” it’s on Netflix now! Clint Eastwood at the age of 32
People forget what a badass Clint was in the earlier days. I mean he still is but he was iconic.
I enjoy that style of acting. Doesnt speak much, always relaxed and kicks ass.
Cant forget "Dirty Harry."

Okay, now I know I'm gonna get told I'm talkin BS on this but its the absolute truth. My Grandfather who use to live out in California built a house for him many decades ago. He was an extremely sought after carpenter and built it out of wood apparently. I imagine it was one of these log style houses that you see in the mountains.
Just watched a new release called Darkness Falls ..... Quite good 6.8 / 10
It's about a Father & son who go around murdering successful women Lol
That sounds like a movie my wife would buy into considering current events.
One movie I have found that people either Love or Hate is .
' The Watchmen '
Personally I thought it was a great film , the Character bio's were interesting and well written. The Fighting scenes were raw like you felt the punches when they landed. Over all its a good movie , Good music but its kinda of a long movie but hey still not bad.
If you need proof that Great Actors can still make very bad films check out Gemini Man - One of Will Smith's biggest letdowns in what should have been a brilliant film given the storyline.
Check this Unbelievable property out - Sean Connery's former house:

10 points to whoever gets it - 'I'm bringin him in closer Merlin ..... You're gonna do WHAAAT??'
Easy! Top Gun
" I'm gonna Slam on the brakes and he'll fly right by.
'You can't just shoot a cop! .....
Whoever say's you was one?
10 minutes?? This thing's gonna be over in 2 .....
Well I'm surprised I'm saying it, but - Terminator: Dark Fate ......
Watched it for the first time tonight and it was much better than I expected. Better than all the others after No.2 and Mrs. Conner was great in it Lol 7/10
Made me kinda sad though, seeing those 2 together again 36 years later :( I guess life's gonna get us all one day
That was a good one .
The chick Terminator went beast mode with that sledge hammer . It is always kinda odd seeing an original character like Sarah Conner come back 30+ years later and play the character again , but all in all she did good.
Yeah I found her strangely attractive because she was so good at acting the part, it was weird Lol For me it was when she was slicing up the bad guy with the chain at the end - was it Insulin she kept jabbing or some kind of energy concoction because of her highly strung metabolism? Linda Hamilton was so good at playing a Nutty & alcoholic Conner! And tell me one thing - How does a Terminator sit with his legs crossed in the woods?? LMAO Think they messed up there a bit .....
JoJo Rabbit was both really good and hilarious.
A kid in WW2 Germany is in the Hitler Youth and his imaginary friend is Hitler. It’s definitely a dark comedy but I loved it. I wanna watch it again actually and I just saw it like a week ago.
Guy's - I forgot about this one 'No Country for Old men' it's a goody.
