As our economy trickles slowly into the deep depression, what is there to do? Who will take part in the upcoming revolution against the bankers and corrupt politicians? I will be starting a garden to start preparing to be more self sufficient. I hope to hear some ideas you guys will be pursuing.

No offense, but some of the best education isn't from college universities! For example, the medical profession is largely founded on a system driven purely by profits. Who was the AMA, ACS, and the FDA founded by? The Rockefellers. They basically banned all homeopathic medicine and introduced a system that allows only the western medicine that he started. Not to mention he ONLY took natural medicine!

But now think back to shortly after 9/11 , there was such a sense of unity and brotherhood. There were people doing ugly things, but as a whole I think most people treated each other better.

Most of the people that were rescued were rescued by Haitians. If someone saw a friend or family, hell anyone most people would help. education has its place.. I have 3 advanced degrees so I am well aquainted with the educational system. If you believe everything your professors say as the God's truth then you sir are sadly missing the point. The greatest learning comes from asking questions and debate, postulating theories and having discussion, not sitting in some class room being spoonfed answers.

Sometimes I think a collapse would make us stronger. I'm sure it would suck at first since many are used to paying for things with paper, but eventually it would rebuild and hopefully without all of the dirty shit going on behind the scenes. We would still have our resources and education to make things right, just because our dollar system fails, doesn't mean we lose all of the value we have in our countries. If we never had a dollar system we would be trading for what we needed.
