The day I bust out with " Bro"
ad
Ive never been one to easily pick up slang or coloquialisms, they just rarely stuck with me. Lately however when I talk to my self in the car Ive been finding my self saying " Bro whats up" "Common Brotha" or just "BRO!".
So I know its coming, I know soon in actual conversation I'll bust out with "Bro".
Its funny I like the term, its versatile ,endearing, or sarcastic, not to mention I now associate it with this underground culture.
So Do you "Bro it up " in public ? At the Gym ? or only here ?
I think at this point if I ran in to a guy at a gym and he said "bro" Id almost take it as an aknowledgement to discuss cycles or something.

Bro i say "bro" all the time bro !! Lol
Hahah that's like WORD .. I use that shit for everything, manly just shit I didn't care to talk about I would be like word bro lol
When my girl is pissing me off I usually resort to calling her dude, like dude shut the fuck up your not even listening to me at all type of shit. As far as bro, I don't know why that picked up on forums so much, fuckin bb.com, that place is cursed.
AnonSome funny shit here guys, calling girls bro, calling wifes dinner gear, saying bro to the boss. Alright Im glad Im not the only one infected with "bro-itus".
I'll have to try it out on my wife, she reads some of the threads sometimes Im sure she'll get a laugh.
CleyonDon't try it when she's got her mouth full (you know what I mean bro?) "Oh yeah bro, that's it, go all the way down bro!" no homo
AnonSorry bro Im not going to try that little trick out, my libido has been sketchy as it is, the last thing I need is any "bro" thoughts popping in to my head at that moment.
CleyonI "Bro'd" my boss yesterday! Lol, he looked at me like I had lost my mind!
Hahaa. I find myself using bro all the time. I'm always telling people they are "good to go" and some times I call my wife's cooking gear. Lol. Shit I even got a neck tattoo that says Ed on it. Wtf? Ok maybe I don't take it that far. But I can't get away from bro. Or brother. I've ha that for 10 years and ill never leave it!
56tooI totally share your thoughts. I never used the term til I started hanging out here. Trust me you will start using it in public. Many times I have to catch myself and stop just because its inappropriate. But I do like it. The only time I feel it may be insulting is when Im talking to a black guy, I feel I may offend him by using it but oher than that its BROS away!!
theirs a bro culture in my gym between maybe 20 guys and its great its how we get on and share similar intrest ' but i cant talk like that with the guys i work with lol
they share a more drinking culture not into training or bodybuilding at all
Before i knew anything at all about aas i was benching one day and hit i think 415 and this guy walking passed me later stuck out his hand and said "whats up bro?" It didnt dawn on me til i started seeing all the aas users online calling each other bro, did this guy assume i was on the gas?
