Spring fever crowd starting to arrive at your gym? GTFO!!

This crowd is starting to come in like roaches, i call them the spring/summer fever crowd. It's people that look like shit and only train when the weather starts getting warmer cause they have to get "in shape" for the summer, like the shit happens overnight..smh. At my gym it's mostly little teenage young bucks that come in packs lol, imo all they do is get in the way and are a waste of space. Idk but it annoys the shit out of me. Any of u guys get this crowd yet?

Yea I fuckin hate it, most of them are running around the gym not even knowing what the fuck there doing, except getting in my way. It drives me nuts. Then there's those other guys who keep coming back but you never see any progress. It's like what the fuck are you even doing here. They don't know how to train and eat properly, it's just a waste of their time. Lol they all stand around in awe as I'm benching 405 for reps all roided out bwhahahaha.
One time this teenager the next bench over actually removed a plate from one side of my barbell when I was getting a sip of water between bench sets. I didnt notice it at first and I nearly killed my self when I picked it up and one side was 25 lbs lighter. I went pseudo-homocidal on him and never saw him back there again and I felt a little bad afterwards. We were all noobs once and I'd rather see non-lifting people in the gym and tolerate them in my way than them totally give in to be fat bastards on the sofa/internet/tweeting 24/7.
Hey he probably learned his lesson. Someone can really get hurt from stuff like that, it's probably good you went off on him.
On a side note, between every single set I always check the sides of the bench before each set.
angusIt happens twice a year, usually January 1st when lazy people try to make a resolution to work out, and right before spring weather hits. It's like a wave idiots twice a year. I wouldn't trade my private gym at work for anything. Love going into a completely empty gym at lunch and killing it.
im fortunate, the gym i go to has a separate weight room for the under 18, and if you come in at 18 to the "grown up room" acting less than grown up, being dangerous, or otherwise. the grown ups toss your ass out till you are weight room certified by the in house trainer. Im nasty about it, i chase kids out of the weight room all the time and idiots lifting dangerously
I cant stand those fuckers all they do is get in the way!! It's kind of comedic to watch them workout though.
So that's what the fuck that is. All of a sudden groups of teenagers have been coming to my gym, they all move out of my way though, i don't even have to say anything
Had a guy last night in jeans and boots on the leg curl machine for 20 minutes til I finally asked him if he was going to stay on that machine all night. And the infamous barbell curls on the squat rack.. Don't fuck with us on leg day!
We still have resolution ppl hanging around and now the spring fever fuckers! Hate em!
I second that. All of the regulars (year round) are pissed!
i love watching cretin people use the time for social hour.. watch a lot of walking around and talking... ( I love the fact they carry their water around with them) GET OUT OF THE GYM!!!

Yeah same here, its so damn annoying because they take your machines and get in the way of your workout!

Lol...SOS every year, but haven't seen yet. The New Years resolution crowd thinned nicely enough so i can come in a little earlier and get the equipment I want. Once it picks up again it's back to late evenings again.
I was just geeting tired of seeing the "new year resolution crowd" and suddenly BOOM "spring break crowd" All the gym's get packed with people who dony even go there to train just talk and be social. Annoys me to certain point but hell hppefully one of them fuckers decide to stay and do a real change in his life... BUT as long as they are young good looking ladies, i dont mind that crowd it all ;)
