I was in pensacola for a week.. I drive back up here and I get
this sh-t dumped on me..

I'm in this arctic blast shit and I just walked outside to make a phone call with my cell. The weather channel predicted it to be -15F and -40F with the wind chill. I said screw this after 60 seconds and ended the call to walk back in the house. Didn't it snow in northern Alabama? I bet they thought the world was coming to an end.
Soooooo... I love in the south.. just to give you guys an idea.. it's going to get down to about 9 degrees here tonight and schools and some business have already closed tomorrow.. BECAUSE IT'S GOING TO BE TO COLD! LMAO!
There is snow coming down again... and this is sunday.....
middle of this month...then 6 more weeks till the start of spring..
I am in Charlotte NC and it is supposed to be 5º on Tuesday. I am a native Floridian and that is COLD!!
my first 20yrs in Michigan going on my next 20yrs soon in the sunshine state gotta say 9 months of 90 degree heat plus gets pretty old as well you can layer for cold you can't do shit about being thrown in oven lol, and the state is flat as hell no rolling hills, mountains, change of seasons ahhh it's all relative guess I miss the north especially this time of year happiness can be made anywhere fellas..
I think it feels un natural this time of year.. having lived in both the north and southwest ... I ll take my snow angels over dirt angels any day ...
It definitely stays interesting up here, lol. We also are generally better drivers because we are used to shit, no traction conditions, lol.
that's a fact Ice, think you'll get a kick out of this back in 90 or 91 it snowed here in north central fl and driving into work that morning I lost track of how many cars skid off the road, I was thinking shit all these people would kill them selfs if they had to drive winter months where I come from. stay warm, stay safe bro.
I think it is basically a right of passage that as soon as we got our drivers license (first snow) you had to go to a huge parking lot and do brodies and power brake spins, lol. Not to mention power sliding every open corner,lol. But, that is how you learn to oversteer and many other tricks of northern driving.

HA !-- so this.. that is - exactly- how I learned to drive. 4 door beast-shit-box..8 cylinder, friends in the back seat,..parking lot, bouncing off the snow piles....yep.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well my lovely place of employment sends me a text message at 7:22am AFTER I dig out, change the fuk'n dead battery in my 4Runner(in the blizzard, no garage of course) and get all the way to work, saying that we're not open until noon. Although by the time they told us we were already supposed to have been open 22 minutes. FML...and this storm.

snowin like a mutha fucker! The odd part about winter is I love a big snow storm, I hate the little 2 to 6" annoyance storms and I DESPISE the cold. 30 degrees and up I'm fine with. Teens and wind chill, not so much.

I do that and tan occasionally and it makes a huge difference. It's not a coincidence that I wind up in rehab every winter. The winter fucks me up so much.

I don't take vitamin d but I have been tanning this year. I'm also worse right now because I was planning a move down south that hasn't quite happened yet. This should be my last year up in this shit hole though. I've almost completely shut down. I appreciate the suggestions. I normally don't talk about it much because I feel like a big pussy, but it's very real to me. Not many people understand it.
I fully understand it. This doesn't make much sense. Why spend more than a third of a lifetime freezing your ass off. And I don't like all the clothes women wear in the winter. It's depressing as hell. I got a happy light this year, they're still over dressed, so apparently it doesn't work.
I bet more people that live up here than you think understand it. That is why they call it the winter blues. Tanning does help for me a lot, as well as planning a winter vacation somewhere warm. Whatever your budget can handle anyway. And lastly if there is any winter sports you can get into, that helps a ton.
Snowing it's dick off in my spot right now.. glad I'm off work tomorrow.
I spent Christmas in Naples Florida and came back to this garbage; nice how this weekend will be in the negs, 20 to be exact. Can't wait to move.
