Revitalizing the forums

Okay so I am new to the forums but I sense that there isn't as much excitement as there once was there. What do you think could be done to renew interest? Any suggestions? I think this is a great community and I'm lucky and happy to be apart of it. I just would hate to see it die. I know the reviews will go on but I like the idea of this being a place where people can come gain knowledge from some of the many experienced guys and gals out there. Just a thought

I think the main purpose of this board is to educate and it's doing it's job pretty damn well. If you're looking for excitement I sugest the cnn website or Peoples Magazine, a lot of energy and excitement there

Neil Peart is one of the best drummers of all time.

Neil also wrote nearly all over their songs lyrics. He is one of the best songwriters and drummers of the modern era.
also geds amazing bass lines while playing Taurus pedals and singing all at the same time. definite multi tasking.

Breath/time was one of the songs my band and I covered. After a playing a song a couple hundred times you become intimately bonded to it. I am also a huge problem Pink Floyd fan but not so much post Roger Waters.

Led Zep. Guess who my father usef to drink with? Jimmy Page. Used to see him every couple of months when was young.
Now I'll ruin a myth for you, he's about as exciting as watching paint dry......
Zeppelin had a lot of great stuff but the whole catalog is tainted by Jimmy Page and his stealing so much from other musicians.
You should check out UFO, they are also a band that rocked like hell.
