Hahaha. I just got a new job at a protein powder manufacturing company. I’m an automation tech there.
Just means I fix machinery. We make it in 10,000 pound sacks and 55 kilogram sacks for other places to mix them into their own brands. The equipment that makes this stuff is crazy. They are also making ready to drink shakes soon. They spent 279 million on nee fillers and everything. They hired me to be the new tech in that area mostly. When they send samples to get tested for purity I get to keep whatever I feel like keeping to drink at home once it’s approved. Fuck yeah man!!!

That's awesome
Congratulations on the new job! That sounds fun
Man that's Awesome, congratulations!!! Protein Heaven!!
Nothing better then making money and saving money at the same time lmao congrats on the new job!
Thanks. I love it there. I been fixing this type of machinery for many years. Let me tell ya. I was making 16$ an hour until I went to trade school. Once I was done with that my salary more than doubled. It’s also much easier to get a job.
Underrated comment. Well done sir
Thanks. They pay great too. I was at a union job with the teamsters but the teamsters suck. Couldn’t even use their insurance
Sometimes unions suck! We are year 4 with no contract. Bought to go into mediation for the millionth time. Looks like the company I work for is going to bail since they are cutting costs every which way possible. Contract is going up for bid and if another company lands it then we lose out on 4 years worth of back pay and a 15% wage increase. Also the last union for the last company i worked for went down for embezzlement and every one from the top down got cut. Fuckers we’re making a shit ton of money. That time we also went with out contract for 4 years lol
Unions are a fucking scam. This was the second time and it was bullshit both times.
Sweet deal man. Reminds me when I was in college, playing on rugby team and local micro brewer decided to sponsor us.
We worked over there after practice and could take home any that didn’t fill all way up. Happens when resetting machine, etc.
some nights, took a few cases home worth. Even dropped a couple off at some buddies lol.
Hey mate - that sounds like a bloody Great job!!! I looked into a job at Bulkpowders once over here and you got great discounts off products and take homes that have expired if you want them, was just too far from me though.
When I first wake up it’s hard for me to eat so I make a double scoop protien shake with raw eggs in it and frozen fruit then drink that. Between the milk and eggs and protien powder I get a good first meal in
This sounds like my type of breakfast. I have been consistently doing two scoops of whey protein, with instant coffee, and a scoop of creatine when I have to run early in the morning. Also guarantees that I have something in my stomach to keep me fed if the day doesn't allow me to get a breakfast.
I work in a protein drink factory o don’t buy it anymore
I am the total opposite - I have to have 2 meals in me before I have a protein shake otherwise I feel terrible!! Makes me feel nauseous for some reason, need some proper lining in my stomach first. Only food initially makes me feel good, liquids make me feel weak.
The last tub of protein (5lbs) I purchased was 119.75 usd. It’s been a month since I’ve ran out. I’ve since decided to cut protein shakes. I’d rather get more chicken breast or eggs even though drinking protein is easier than eating it.
wow what are you using? lol . I pay anywhere from $55 to $75 for 5 lbs and delivered to my house.
I bought Hydropro by evochem nutrition sold at Nutrishop. It’s the only one that made not feel full, bloated, and gassy.
They make whey protein isolate and concentrate. I use the isolate. There is no flavor in it or anything. They send it out just like that and the protien companies flavor it and slap a label on it.
I just buy Unflavoured Hydrolysate, then add Dextrose and Flavordrops to it. I believe with Hydrolysate its further filtered with water isn't it - so you need extra machines to take it to that next level?
For hydrolysis you just need a few extra filters. All the other stuff is the same
Remember the days when a 10lb bag was $100 for the GOOD stuff?
The good old days were when I was way in high school, my mom used to buy me the EAS protein from Costco on a regular basis.
Yessir, parent-funded gainz were definitely the good ol days.
