Privatemd labs vs directlabs

Both use lab corp for the tests, but when I buy from directlabs I get my results in 3 business days, when I buy from privatemd it takes 5-7 business days. Privatemd is a few bucks cheaper, but Im certainly not impressed . However privatemd seems to be the only way to get a total test number .
Anyone have a preference ? If so have you actually used both ?

I have not used directlabs. I know with privatemdlabs it depends on the tests that are being done, and the proximity of the testing lab from the collection site.
When I run the hormone panel for females, they always get my results back in one day. In my case, the test lab for these is 60 miles from the collection site.
If I include HGH serum or igf-1 tests, they collect an additional vial, and have to send that to a test lab about 1000 miles away. In these cases they take around 5 days. Unfortunately, they seem to hold all the results up for the slowest component and report them all on one report.
When you order the tests, the turnaround time is estimated in the small print enclosure upfront.
Privatemd I usually get results in a day or two but depends on test
I used privatemdlabs last Thursday and had my results on Friday. The time before that it took about 3 days.

I think it has more to do with the proximity of the lab to the testing site than anything. I know they sent mine fairly close this last time, you can ask when you go in. I get the female hormone panel.
Haven't used both though.
AnonSee its funny because my collection center is the same for either company. I thought labcorp did the testing right there.
The lady that draws the blood at labcorp where I test said that LabCorp and Privedmedlabs are actually teh same company, they just have the two names for legal reasons. Hippa or something to that effect.
