I just got a pm from gym junkies girlfriend as some of you know gymjunkie was in a car accident last week and banged his head pretty good. Well it seems things have taken a turn for him health wise and he's in a coma this is the pm I got from her.

I wanted to let the community know gymjunkie is in a coma, when he was in his car accident a couple weeks ago everything was fine according to his doctors, but yesterday he collapsed and they found a small bleed on his brain caused by the trauma he suffered. He has not regained consciousness yet but will respond to stimulus on hands and feet. If your wondering who this is I'm his girlfriend , he doesn't have any family I'm just looking for prayers please pass this along and keep him in your prayers please
So fellas pray for our brother if that's your thing or hope for a speedy recovery for him.

You know I like you GJ and there isn't much I can do to definitively prove this whole story isn't true but I am going to be honest with you, I cannot find anything that makes sense of a head injury stewing for ten days before causing a brain bleed. Let alone one bad enough to put you in a come (very serious) and then for you to miraculously come out of coma 48 hours later and be right back on Eroids. There are other issues as well but I actually hope that somehow I am wrong, (but I am rarely wrong). Either way I hope whatever it is that is ailing you you get well.. Pale.
This whole story sounds straight out of a soap opera and far from the reality of closed head injuries..

He should be ok if the internal bleeding was found early and pumped out and stitched up where it was coming from.. I was in the same situation when I was 19, I was only 2 days away from death but they cut open my head and and fixed me. Hopefully they can do the same for him. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his girlfriend.

Remember when you crushed your hand with the stone boulders and I wrote to you that it sucks because I know how much training means to you, but look at things in a positive light. Pick up another hobby in the meantime get healthy rest up and you may just rediscover yourself. Well you know what maybe everything happens for a reason take a look at this - if you never got your hand crushed you would still have been training extremely heavy all this time putting lots of pressure on your body and the small bleed on your brain could have possibly been much, much worse. Maybe you crushed your hand because it was something out there looking out for you telling you to rest up, no training or weightlifting. Because you may be in a coma but you are still alive and responding to stimulus that's something I just hope you get better and recover 100% and wish the best possible scenario to happen for you. My prayers go out to him, his girlfriend, and family. I'm happy his girl reached out to us so we can keep him in our prayers. We all have to remember that we play a dangerous game (GymJunkie was a car accident) but the rest of us really have to watch our health....I find it hard to believe that all our members that haven't logged on in a very long time are only suffering from "eroids burn out" and not something worse :/
I reallly hope it is just eroids burn out and not something worse. Because theres alot of people who used to be very active or atleast pop in from time to time that I havent seen in forever. Hope everybody's safe and healthy.
