New GNR Album

Time is a magical thing. Egos get lost and you realize that what you had in the beginning was what worked. Have loved Guns through out everything and look forward to what's to come.

I don't really care but having been in a band I can tell you that taking a group of guys and putting them together to make music is like playing with nitro glycerine. Super volatile. That is why most do break up. You have 4-6 different visions of what the music should be, you have drugs and alcohol, you have women and huge fucking egos. Point is, it ain't easy kids.
I bet being on the road touring for a year is extremely draining also, together with playing the same songs over and over again, having to act like its the first time and you are massively excited about it all is very tough too.
The actual performance is the only good thing. That energy you get is what keeps you going. But everything else goes to shit and everyone hates each other. lol
edit: the exception being if someone is not performing or unable to perform, then things get ugly
What do you play or did you sing?
I will just say I did not sing other than some backing vocals.
If it's the founding member of the group who keeps fluffing their notes and generally not performing well - Can they still be voted out of the band by the other members if its a majority vote?
Depends on a lot of things.
Fuck axle rose.. that ass hat ruined the greatest band of all time.. AC/DC.. when he toured trying to sing while Brian Johnson is sidelined with a hearing problem.. I hope he gets hit by a Semi
lol....I saw AC\DC live in the Concert in the Park (Victoria Park), in Sydney in 1975. I was blown away....I hadn't heard of them until then.
Molinin302Bon Scott was the OG my bro. No disrespect to Brian, but that guy rocked bagpipes. Bagpipes man...
You got that right brother! No dis to Brian either. He did an amazing job. But one can only imagine if Bon had made a bit longer.
Blasphemy!!!
Huge fan. With that said I couldn't make myself like Chinese democracy. I did like velvet revolver however. Hopefully we get something that's just mind blowing. I wish Izzy would give it another go.
Molinin302He's the songwriter that was responsible for the "appetite for destruction" sound. To me, that's GNR
Izzy was a HUGE part of Guns sound. Really wish we could have heard more music from him with band. Not sure it will ever happen though. He seems to be just fine with the life he has so hats off to that
Supposedly he was asked and no surprise money was the problem.
I read that myself. Also read that he even showed up for rehearsal for a show early on in the NITL tour. Then left soon after and that was that. I have my hopes but my doubts seem to be winning on it ever happening.
Agree 100%. and Izzy never stopped putting out music look him up. Some decent stuff.
Nothing lasts forever....even cold November rain.
I can’t wait! I have such high expectations for this. I’m a huge GNR fan.
Have you heard any of the leaks online? I'm ready too! Can't wait to hear something different.
