Making a plant resin

Hello Eroids community,
I've researched into this topic for quite sometime and haven't been able to find any information on chemistry forums on how to make a Resin from a plant or bark. If there's anyone here who has any experience with this topic or can point me In the direction I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

I have done BHO extraction many times. But I am not sure that is what you are interested in. Use as pure a butane as you can find, at least 5x purified

Depends on the grade of naphtha, in some countries, yes.
In the usa, naphtha seems to be a catch all word, and the answer tends to be, NO.
All chemicals in the given solvent have to have a low enough boiling point, if one of the components has a higher boiling point, it will remain in the resin as a possible poison.

Depends on the plant I would think.
What does it mean when the resin form states the name of the plant followed by a 15x or 30x and how do I measure that or concert the resin into that equation

Super Critical Liquid Extraction.
Liquid CO2, at temperature and pressure becomes a super solvent. Slowly bleed off pressure, co2 becomes a gas leaving behind said resin.
Easy peasy,.............. equipment is fairly spendy.

Some of the extraction processes they do, go up to 5000 psi.
You're into very high pressure to extreme pressure vessels made out of high grade stainless.
At the pressures and temperature involved, the super critical fluids will eventually take a toll on the materials the pressure vessel is made of.

They way I know is take plant immerse in ever clear and then soak then boil.
Once reduced use a cheesecloth to strain out plant matter from remaining liquid.
Add remaining liquid into preferably a ceramic coated frying pan keep reducing using a silicon scraper to keep folding it until completely reduced into a resin or oil depending on what you have extracted from all alcohol will eventually evaporate.
You can also use everclear which in not denatured.Makes a great solvent.Google Rick simpson( thanks to the other poster that corrected without calling me out)he shows how to make the cure from Ganga or google Phoenix Tears, it too will explain using alcohol as an extractor.
Isopropyl extraction
Acetone extraction,.......... has a lower boiling point than isopropyl.
You will need the harder to find 99% isopropyl.
The 50 % 70% and 91% varieties will waste your time and plant mater.
