Lower back/sciatica issues

ad

Hi ladies and gents

Fairly new to the forum so go easy on me ;)

Been training for 4-5 years with a few cycles under my belt nothing to wild just few test/deca cycles with my last being a test/tren blast and due in few weeks to go again and yep you got it back on the tren train as side were minimal and results were amazing.

Anyways was looking for some advice on lower back as I suffered a back injury around Xmas last year and all had seemed ok after resting up for around 2 months but seem to now be suffering with sciatic issues- upper left leg and left glute last three weeks have been a real struggle and just started seeing a chiropractor
But he's advised no heavy lifting but just wondered if anyone recommend any lower back exercises which might help aid healing or strengthening to avoid future issues

Cheers

I feel your pain man! I had surgery on three discs in lower lumbar almost 3 yrs ago..this after many yrs of chiropractors massage therapy pain pills ect....unfortunately I never found the magic exercise or pill that cures the ailing back/sciatic nerve..rest and time Advil or Percocet! The decompression table if. Your chiro has one may help. Simple stretches like clams, knee lifts r good also. Once the swelling of the sciatic nerve is gone your chiro will b able to adjust you. Since the sciatic nerve runs thru the pelvis frequent adjustment ( once a week) are very helpful in keeping flare up away. Hopefully you have n ins that will cover some as it can get pricey. Keep weights on the light side with certain exercises ..ie.leg press squats deadlifts...you get the idea....and ALWAYs stretch/warm up! Keep your form good and listen to your body..don't push it to hard or you could end up goin under the knife which is no fun at all! Hope this helped good luck

Rest and stretching are the only way. I am having surgery on my lower back on Tuesday, and I have tried EVERYTHING to avoid it, but what I can say is the only time it feels DECENT is when I'm rested and stretched out. I also alternate between heat and ice for 20 mins at a time every few hours. My hamstrings constantly feel like I just finished up running a 5k, and even 30 mins of proper stretching only gives me a few hours of relief.

My dr recommended when I first got hurt not to do squats, deads or military presses. Basically anything where you lower back absorbs the bulk of the pressure. Walking is key as well, try if you have time to get in a fairly long walk each day, as walking is the best way to keep the back loose. Good luck I hope u recover better than I did!

I'm new here but been in this game for 30+ years. Not saying I know it all by any means. Many cycles and years training.
I'll be 60 in a few months. I've struggled with back pain for the last decade. Cushion between L5 and S1'eroded. From time to time my back flares up. The only real remedy is rest.
