StevebI have a Black Throat Monitor lizard, Chameleons, and a few others. My monitor lizard is big enough to walk on a leash now. What kind of lizard are you buying for your kids?
Yo Steve have bearded now and its going great right been research n seems
Its better to breed crickets now somebody said amazon but I'm looking at reviews an they seem shitty cheaper is not better I rather keep it already have its protein vitamins I guess I might have a new workout partner it needs as much supps as me lol
Man I just seen guys post but I'm little indecisive I might have it wrong went to pet store two weeks ago think they are bearded dragons. Monitor grow huge maybe not better choice for him from what I read but I'm not a expert lol
StevebThere are small monitor lizards and giant ones. Bearded Dragons stay small and are easy to take care of. They can be tamed too.
X2
Bearded dragons make great pets for first timers. They can be very tame and dosile lizards. Great pets for kids. I have owned beardy for the past 10 years. Monitors can be a lil aggressive. Stick with a beardy for the youngins.
I might go with that one. I said two bcuz they both where looking like they wanted out lol pet shop prison life is no good lol.
Size matters,....,..........
ETA : Are you talking a couple of 3 inch geckos, or 2 - 2 foot Gila monsters or a pair of 5 foot Komodo Dragons that will need room to grow. As I said, "size matters "
Lol I pass on the Gila monsters. I don't want to be When animals attack:)
200 dollars minimum.
I keep my lizard in my pants.
