+ 1 KARMA WHORES BANNED PERMANENTLY
We have been tracking karma distribution between certain members for quite some time now, and it's obvious their only objective is to gain high amounts of karma.
The following members have earned a permanent ban:
- cdaddy7
- zewi
- fast48
- last but not least our beloved ex MOD gs9902
(I guess now you know why ex, right bro, right?)
Although there were other members in this "underground circle" the four members above, all received their last warnings months a go.
I'm sure a lot of you are shocked or at least surprised by my decision, especially since all of the above members have proven themselves very helpful and knowledgable on more than one occasion.
However, there is NO DOUBT that these members were operating as a team inside our community with only one thing on their mind; obtain as much karma as possible, present themselves as high ranking members and as such receive kickbacks and free gear from sources.
Karma to these guys was not an indicator of helpfulness or trustworthiness, but a currency with which you can get free gear.
- As for the sources that were knowingly participating in this, consider this your last warning!
- To all the "silent members" of this retarded circle - you have been given another chance, don't blow it.
I'm sure all you idiots will eventually create new accounts, looking forward to banning you over and over again.

If we can't be responsible with a petty thing as karma, then how much more responsible can one expect to be with gear. We're suppose to be adults, remember? lol. Karma is nice to have, but what's the big deal about karma anyways?

I somehow feel karma points should be given on quality advice that can be quantified and qualified. Not given because your buddy said something cool or copied what ten other people had said before. I find it hard to consider advice from someone who has only been a member 8 months or so and has earned 100's of points by regurgitating other sites or posts when I know that by their age and or time on here they could not possibly have actually ran that many cycles using so many compounds! It does pose the question; Is this a good ole boys club? If you give advice you should qualify it with experience or at least reference the source.

I think to a large degree we all need to realize that Karma comes when you least worry about it. I mean really, if things were different for me and my status, I d be closing in on a1000 but the reality is I00, 200, 300, or whatever, the thing that counts the most is what you offer the community in terms of valuable experience, support and over all contributions. Karma... she's a bitch.
I recently started a forum about how Karma needs be lowered on our priority list and those top 3 guys all gave me Karma... I think this Karma thing needs some change. Maybe make it harder to hand out. Or maybe it should have to be put through a MOD first. Karma seems to be causing a lot of problems. I'm fairly new here and my "Karma" post was my first real post in my opinion (my only one so far) and it was about how this "karma" thing isn't being used right. It was the only one that I think may have helped some. Anyways... F*** Karma. I got money, I don't need free shit! I do like where I'm at though because I can vote and at least people know I'm not a super newb. That's about it! l8r

AnonAppreciate it Viking..... 3-4 guys got out of hand according to the rules set by BFG. However, hundreds of us have acted responsible...I think the system is working quite well. No need to change in my opinion.
I have no idea how to get the karma but I feel enlighted just from the advice I get each time I come here. The information I am gaining is far more worth it than the karma at this point. Thank you to those that did it by trial and error so that we may save ourselves a load of trouble.
Once I hit 900 karma, I suffered a condition known as "karma apathy" where I no longer cared. Think of it as turning gay after having thosands and thousands of women at your disposal.

Same here. A few years back I didn't get to plan and choose a cycle. I had to run whatever the douchebag I was dealing with had. Usually paid between $150-$200 a bottle too! I learned a lot over the years but the knowledge aquired in all those years combined is dwarfed by what iv'e learned here.

he was removed not too long ago as a mod. My guess would be fanboyin and an attempt to rig a source "contest giveaway" I could be wrong this is just my assumption.
Damn, i thought i was crazy thinking there was a "inner circle" so to speak. But that comes to show BFG is a wizard with an all seeing eye.
