+ 1 KARMA WHORES BANNED PERMANENTLY
We have been tracking karma distribution between certain members for quite some time now, and it's obvious their only objective is to gain high amounts of karma.
The following members have earned a permanent ban:
- cdaddy7
- zewi
- fast48
- last but not least our beloved ex MOD gs9902
(I guess now you know why ex, right bro, right?)
Although there were other members in this "underground circle" the four members above, all received their last warnings months a go.
I'm sure a lot of you are shocked or at least surprised by my decision, especially since all of the above members have proven themselves very helpful and knowledgable on more than one occasion.
However, there is NO DOUBT that these members were operating as a team inside our community with only one thing on their mind; obtain as much karma as possible, present themselves as high ranking members and as such receive kickbacks and free gear from sources.
Karma to these guys was not an indicator of helpfulness or trustworthiness, but a currency with which you can get free gear.
- As for the sources that were knowingly participating in this, consider this your last warning!
- To all the "silent members" of this retarded circle - you have been given another chance, don't blow it.
I'm sure all you idiots will eventually create new accounts, looking forward to banning you over and over again.

AnonWith all due respect to BFG and mods, the following post is not to you guys. You set the rules and my respect for enforcing them you run an amazing show and clearly your ways have only made this great site possible.
This post is to all the vultures jumping on and trashing the names of some great guys.

WTF have you posted ? Have you even created one thread that had as much helpful info complied in one concise thread ? Are you seriously going to suggest that CDaddy , Zewi and GS were not smart guys that knew what they were talking about ?
Copy and paste or not, the bottom line is they took the time to compile info and bring it to my finger tips. We are all parroting info here, because we all have learned from someone else. Sure you may have hands on experience too, but chances are you gained that experience after reading something written by someone else.
Not one source has come forward to say "yeah these guys were squeezing me for a lot of gear ". Not one review written by these guys has been proven to be wrong or promoting bogus gear.
Not one time did I ever read a post by these guys that passed judgement on anyone, and now you have the nerve to pass judgement on them ?
And just to be crystal fucking clear, because clearly I need to be, This rant is not about whether or not they deserved to be banned ,or arguing the decision to do so. It is about the sickening pathetic replies by people who havent contributed jack shit compared to what these guys gave.
Its over its done, they fucked up and broke the rules of the system, but none of that changes who these guys were and how they truly offered up everything they could.
Yep...I have read comments and restrained from thrashing out. Why all the hate? And then also...just how two-faced are some of the comments? For example, someone is sure all nicey-nice and stroking/licking up the schlong until an individual gets booted...and then it's all THIS^^^

All FOUR of these guys were great 'friends' of mine...I had some really great discussions in PM's with these individuals about certain subjects that were either too personal to blast over the net OR about steroid topics that I would NEVER put in the open here for MANY reasons...and I was ALWAYS treated with respect and given quality advice without an eye of scorn. Wish I could say the same about posting in the forums at times...I would love to post questions but I refrain from it, and I will just continue to research it myself and then ask someone in PM, LOL.

But for instance if when these men were members and you called them out openly like you are taking shots at them now, then you are not a coward or a hypocrite in your actions. But if you didn't, anyone with any integrity is looking at what you are doing as a cowardly bullshit act. These men were judged by the evidence found from BFG and the mods. You are just taking cheap shots for no good reason. If you think this ass kissing is going to impress the mods here you are mistaken. You are only causing members who liked these men based on their help to salivate at your demise.

I think SRC's involved shoud get the same treatment though but I am sure they have been given a stern warning. Reviews should always be kept honest with no influence from sources themselves.
I also dont see it as a problem receiving free gear from sources if you are good customer, some guys deserve free gear as long as its made without the fraudulent intentions.

AnonIt sucks being in australia BUT you would never have this type of behavior happen amongst our lot in terms of recieving free gear as its hard enough to get gear in..point being i trust my peers on whats good to bad making my choices in the game much more clearer..bfg has done well but the problem will persist with a new lot of people with some clout coming up..hell free gear for some kind words is hard to resist!

I had a good position on another board before I got here and I've completely started over here because in a way my behavior was similar to the 4 brothers who were banned. I wasnt getting kickbacks (not saying they were) but I wasnt there for the right reasons. I like it here, I fly under the radar and get a shitload of valuable info.

IronCladdYou know i have seen this exact same thing happen on pot seed forums. Breeders giving free packs to high ranking members to hype their gear so all the newbies jump train. All this hype, everyone buys the gear and finds out its weak sauce, But the Seller and his minions benefit and all that PAID hype, hurts the websites reputation in the long run. This is classic exploitation, considering who it was thats a shame, fast48 and GS are good dudes.
Although commendable of BFG to stand up and protect our home and rep, its not that fair to only call out half of the guilty partys. it takes 2 to tango and might just deserve an explanation at this point as to which sources were running this exploit along with em? pls forgive me if im out of line here.
GearofWarI agree with you on the fact that it takes 2 to tango, so to speak. I too would be very interested in seeing who on "the other side" may have been playing ball as well. I've got a few suspicions just from my very brief time here, but I'd really be curious to know if any of my sources would stoop that low...or maybe I DON'T want to know. Very valid point.
EDIT* After posting this I went and did a little research and I'm starting to worry about a certain source I threw all of my chips in with, because as my boy Brambo1 has stated, GS9902 has indeed recently gave this source a fantastic review. I was wondering how zewis wife had as much karma as me. Shes only posted 2 times and been here for only a couple of months. Her two posts consisted of talking about her husbands birthday and he needed to go to bed. Lol. I will miss zewi and his interesting posts.

you need more karma than what you have to make a difference,wont work yet
