How to respond to people?

ad

How do you guys answer people when they ask if you're juicing? For the uneducated, I think it would be easy to play it off as "eating more, lifting heavy, doing creatine." But for gymbros and the like, what do you say?

I tell people that a little over 4 years ago I signed up for this online research group that needed participants who would receive money for testing. So I went and they were doing testing on human genetics and were trying out different tests and medications. One day they accidently gave me the wrong dose and my test that day included a Gamma-Ray scan that mutated me into this Hulk like beast I am today! The only thing that keeps me alive is if I train in the gym. I can never quit or I will turn into gamma-sludge......works every time!

I really depends whether you want to teach them a life lessen or not about entitlement. I come form a military community where people who know don't ask a lot of questions and people that do don't want to stick around very long.

Ask them first "Are you gay? Do you cheat on your taxes? Do you have your banking information on hand and can I have ? When is your wife home alone> Does she want extra company? Then say see that is all intimate personal stuff that I am not entitled to, so what the hell makes you think you are entitled to any answers about my life at all!?

I don't know if it is a culture or generational issue maybe both but I find that every chance I get when someone overtly pushes themselves into my life to slam the door in there face. On another note the people here who have asked me questions have always said "if this is to personal please forgive me." I have never once had a problem answering someone with that kind of attitude.

As far as "gymbros" go just because a person lifts doesn't make him my brother. Nor does it make him not LE either.

This may sound rude but not as rude as someone prying. I apply this not just with juice but with all things when people I don't know, like or trust get pushy for information.

Lmao.. I will add these to my list of rebuttals when ask prying questions for now on!

Dont tell coz its illegal and you don't wanna have a pissed off guy/girl rat you out.
Just say no, or say you're using pro-hormones off the shelf and they tend to raise your test level. Tht and name stuff like pre workout, post workout, intra workout, any thing and everything to give a plausible answer.
I always go with pro-hormones tht I play around with em, eat a lot (which ppl see me do), and supplements off the shelf.

Depends, i am not going to tell some newbie what i am taking.
But if a friend asks me i would tell them. Only person that knows at the moment is my dad, I am sure some of the more experienced guys at my gym know too but they never ask. Maybe because i don't ask them what they are on.

"Genetics brah, you should see my old man.. never been to the gym in his life, worked on a farm his whole life and is the size of a house.. arms bigger than mine" is how I would respond. Gym bros have big mouths so you need to watch what you say to them!

I don't say a word unless I can trust them.. actually only 1 person knows I juice.. 1 other has an idea.. that's it.. this is illegal after all and friends come and go.. not worth the risk imo

But then again I've never had a gymbro come up and say anything to me.. do some of them know? sure.. but it's disrespectful as fuck to waltz up to someone asking if they're natty and what their cycle is

Unless the divulge what they are taking if anything and I knew them for a while, Ill let them know.

Otherwise I say" No bro, but ive always thought about it."

Or " I wish, I'd be a monster"

I play it by ear, if they sound negative about the topic, I say no..If they sound positive, I still say no until i feel I can trust them, even then you never know.Letting the cat out the bag is easy, putting it back in, not so much!

I feel you on that man. I keep my earbuds in too to grind away, but some people dont take the hint and wanna talk anyway. I feel the same way about lifting partners too...I prefer to lift alone so I'm not distracted with talking and shit.
