+ 2 Gear Bums

This is going to be a place for sources to go to post members who are asking via PM and or Email for free gear. Or if you are a member that's aware or becomes aware of members asking for hand outs post them here..ALSO..if a source doesn't want to list the names of members..put the most bizarre/funniest excuses why people say they need free gear

This isn't for people asking for PROMOS..this is for people down right trying to bum free gear

The main purpose here is to try and stop or at least slow down Bums asking for free gear from sources... A side effect of that is us making fun of them..it's not OUR fault... don't be a bum..and you don't have to worry about it

Really? Just the username? I woulda though they’d be happy to have a place to call people out so long as there’s no persona info. Could still be some good out of the new concept tho. Just less opportunity to publicly shame :(

Idk.. some sources are saying they don't have that problem..some say they do..some are on board..some are not..it's just such a new thing..may take a while to catch on..may never catch on...look..if I were a source i couldn't WAIT to post a bums username on here lol.

You need to point out to the source that only the name of the freeloader will be mentioned. I doubt the freeloaders (to this point) have put any effort into covering their track.

If the sources could compare each others list of freeloaders, a pattern would emerge. Besides, they are not giving names of paying customers.

I know Tron mentioned clearly we don't talk about promos here, so I hope that isn't offtopic now, but imo the best way you can support a source is when you buy during promos where they give discount or 2+1 for free! Here I safe money and get more for my money and not "only" free gear! So that's why I like this kind of promos! If you place an order outside any promo its for sure the best way to support a source.

No, I didn't say you couldn't talk about promos.. I just meant this isn't directed at members asking sources if they can be a part of a promo..yep ...lots of promos all the time on eroids..if they are giving a $100 or $ 200 coupon it's a great time to also make a purchase. Agreed.

I really regret that my english skills don´t let me take part in this discussion. School english doesn´t include your slang :S. Nevertheless in my opinion also promo´s with freegear should be discussed. People try to grab free gear and post positive things, to grab next free gear from other sources. Promos should always be like buy something, get something. 2+1 / 1+1 or whatever, but you should invest something, to get something except "samples". If they are new products it is always a helpful thing, trustful members share their experience. But as soon as a source opens a new promo section with free gear, you can rather see how many people come out of their basement and wanna take part (comment section). PS. could need some more neg. karma ;)
