Hell yes! When I was in high school we were listening to underground Metallica when they were thrashing punk rock covers before they got signed. Like I said, I'm an old fucker! LOL!

With metallica it seems as though they've always kept their unique creativity to their music. I was watching their redo of turn the page. There's another killer band that foes by the beat of their own drum, detroit city madman Bob Segar.

Yup my sentiments exactly, I don't think Segar ever got the notoriety due him, but hatfield did him a solid with that redo

I have the tablature book for ride the lightining album. Used to like playing that one on the old axe. Fade to black and callahutula where fun to play aswell. I just love the sheer evil though when hatfield screams seek and destroy and finishes it up with a haha. The guitar riffs are relatively simple, but when we used to play in a garage band seek and destroy would give me goose bumps.
