Failed my drug test but not because of gear.....
So I was just hired at a new job and it's pretty good. I tested positive for marijuana. I smoked a week before she decided to tell me she wanted me to take a drug test so I went and detoxes for that week. Felt pretty confident because I had passed a test a few weeks back prior to taking this one.
It's my third day on the job and I have no idea if they will report it or not. I'm assuming they will because that's the point of a drug test. I'm wondering if anyone on eroids has ever known of people failig drug tests and still keeping theirs jobs. Just looking for some input. MODS. You can clear this if you need to I know it's not steroid related lol.
I'm bugging out right now and don't know wether to expect a call or the girl who interviewed me to come and tell me they're letting me go or if they'll even find out at all.

No I didn't consider his pre employment since he had started working already. Fine line there though

Yea I deff wouldn't consider it a pre screen. I mean I already gave them my direct deposit and chose my health and dental plans for Christ sake lol. I'm just going to keep my mouth shut until/if something comes up
Definitely not pre employment. The company I work for will give you one year no pay or benefits if you come up dirty. You have to admit you have a problem well before you get popped, then they will work with you. You can't just fail a test and say help me, I have an issue. They expect you to take care of the issue on your own before you get caught doing something you shouldn't
Depends on the business that you do. But I can say from the company that I work for 15% of the people working for me are considered DOT employees meaning they are covered under federal laws for drug testing. And since we deal with dot laws for some we just follow that procedure for all which gives the person being tested the option of following through with a treatment protocol that has already been established by the company. Which is 60 days off. Entering themselves into a rehab program completely paid for by the employee. And finally not being able to return to work until they can pass a drug screen. After which they are subject to more frequent tests. To the tune of 12 tests in 12 months. In ten years with the company I've only witnessed one person completing the program

Next time do a total cleanse...I passed ncaa drug tests and employment ones with it
