AnonI thought we were just sharing stories here about back when we started.
shirlsguyYes, I was sharing my startup of lifting. I have been really urged to not blast a rediculously high Deca cycle and I was trying to put something out to pump me up and remind me that all the gains are not from AAS. I have modified my plans and expectations and I was trying to share with the community. I 'think' you are saying you get it, so thanks if that was the point. I really feel like this post had a pack of monkeys on my back trying to stick a dick in my ear!
Good read. Thanks for sharing. It is always hardest when we lose track of our training/diet. But it can happen to the best of us. Consistency and diet is key, which is easier said that done, but with a strong mind we can make ourselves great. Best of luck brother, thanks again for the post.
AnonGood story, I will always be a small man in my own eyes no matter how many people a day make the comments of how big I am, I'll never be big enough to satisfy myself, but I guess that's what keeps the motivation up after all these years. My experience was a little different, I grew up on a farm in the 80s/90s so lifting shit was natural part of daily life, throwing 1000s of hay bales off the wagon up 15 feet to the loft day after day after day was a decent workout, if only I ate more during those years, at 18 I joined the corps at 5' 10"ish 160lbs of straight muscle and bones, my first time in the gym was about a year into the fleet when we were doing some cold weather training in Korea, we had a gym set up in tent city with a mud floor and a diesel heater going, slinging those weights in that setting made me feel hardcore so I just stuck with it, if a gym wasn't around I was curling and squatting sand bags, doing lunges with ammo cans on my shoulders, ect. "But there was almost always a gym" when I got out I was roughly 220lbs and solid, 13 years later after never quitting I'm 265ish give or take a few water pounds.
That’s a very humbling and solid upbringing. I’m sure it showed you a great work ethic, and thanks for you service too.
From looking at your pictures you are most definitely huge. Very dense, look very lean and muscle development looks optimal. I strive to be like you if I can constantly get that large haha(and maintain lower BF of course). Side note out of random curiosity, how big are your calf’s?
