I'm usually technical savy but when it comes to bitcoins I'm clueless. How the heck do you buy bitcoins? What's the safest way to get them?

I've only tried this one method, but it works for me. I use a site called bitinstant.com all you have to do is fill out your name and phone number on the website, along with the amount of money you want to convert to bitcoins. Then you print out a slip and take it to your local CVS. Then I use a phone at CVS and you give them a couple codes from the slip along with your phone number, walk to the counter, and pay with cash. Voilà, the cash you just paid is converted to bitcoins and transferred into a bitcoin wallet deposit address that you flled out when you ordered from bitinstant.
