+ 1 Black Friday/cyber Monday purchases
Lots of us spend money we probably shouldn't this time of year on all the deals we think are too good to pass up. Especially now that nobody needs to deal with the bs of waiting online crazy early to get into your desired store and curb stomp anyone who gets in the way of your desired purchases. Home delivery really is a game changer for how likely I am to make a Black Friday or Cyber Monday purchase.
This year I order a 55" Samsung neo-qled TV and persona 3&4 for my switch. I'll probably end up grabbing another game or 2 before the sales are finished. I have dozens of unplayed games across multiple systems and yet I never have anything I really want to play. Persona 4 is hitting the spot currently. I did also place an order with unc for his Wonka black Fri sale as well
So what are you guys picking up while the sales are happening? Gear or otherwise.

That's the 55inch I put in one of the back rooms. Only $180 plus 5 year insurance plan for 40 bucks. Black Friday deal. Yeah I agree it may not seem like it but there's definitely a difference in size compared to 50 inch and it's noticeable no doubt. That upcoming brand isn't the best but they have surprised me so far. Nothing compares to Samsung though. LG is my main driver but not really an LG guy. I still gotta follow your advice and get that surround sound, however man I'm really not a TV guy. I can't sit around for hours just watching TV like some folks can, gotta get up and move around and that doesn't mean into a back room lol. Guess having all those bells and whistles are better than not having it lol.
That's a great price for the size. Especially considering you don't really use it. I'll play a couple hours of video games a week at home and maybe watch another couple hours of TV on weekends generally. I def don't really need all this stuff. But I like to have it and I got decent pricing on everything so so why not?
I do play more than just those few hours of games at home. I play at least as much during the week at breaks/lunch at work during the week. I've got a thing for portable systems. Now I just need to start diving back into my stack of unread books at some point.
Haha you seem like you're having a ball my man! Yeah I use to do video games but not anymore hardly. Books and video games....my man!!! Nothing wrong with that.
And absolutely if you can get it at a good price why not. Heck this economy is crazy and probably will get crazier. Enjoy man. Looking forward to what you get for Christmas lol. You sound like a bargain guy which we all should be, especially during these times
I don't go too crazy on myself for Xmas. Family it's mostly gift cards or movies/games I ask for. My dad is a big car guy like me and will usually do something to help me with the fun car when Xmas time comes around though. Which is always helpful.
Well hope you enjoy and Merry Christmas to you and yours
You too man!
It should be delivered today. Meaning i probably wont get it set up until thursday when i don't work. I've been loyal to Samsung for my tv's since I bought my first lcd tv almost 20 years ago. They just make really nice stuff for the price. This is my sixth tv from them in that time period. My old 5.1 surround sound/blu ray player was from them which sounded great for what it was. I recently upgraded to a 7.1.2 sound bar plus the added rear speakers which makes it 9.1.4 set up. I've got to mess with it more but i actually like it less than my old 5.1 set up. The front speakers are really over powering in comparison to the sides/rears. There's gotta be some adjustments for it.
See you're steps ahead of me because I don't have surround sound but I have been thinking of getting it. Tell you what..for those that don't know, surround sound makes a BIG difference. I need to get with the program lol. And of course with all my TV purchases I get the 5 year insurance plan. You bought at BB?
Nah got it on amazon. It's a factory refurbished unit so i got a 3 year extended warranty on it. Some of the older, like mid 2010's, samsung blu ray/surround sound sound set ups can be grabbed for a few hundred bucks on amazon. Def worth the money IMO. I used my old set up for almost 15 years. Eventually the touch buttons on the unit stopped lighting up and wouldn't respond to touch anymore. I could still use it for surround sound but the blu ray player wouldn't even eject any more. For the price i paid for my sound bar and extra speakers i could have picked up a nice amp and bought a 5.1 or maybe even 7.1 speaker set up. I really like only using 1 remote to control everything so i stuck with samsung and got one of their upper middle tier sound bars. If i can get it dialed in properly so i can distinguish between the different direction when playing my games i'll be happy. I picked up the rerelease of metal gear solid 3 because i never got to beat it. You really need to have the surround sound working so you can place enemies around you while hiding and stuff.
Something like either of these 2 would be my suggestion for an entry level set up that will treat you right. My old set up was basically the first one. If it kept working properly i'd have never upgraded.

Nice. When I finally do get set up you'll be the first one that I reach out to.
I’ve found injectable l-Carnitine preworkout allows me to workout as hard a si want without getting nauseous. I get very nauseous when I go hard or heavy so I’ve been very limited as to how hard I can go, which definitely takes a lot of the fun out of lifting, but injectable l-Carnitine has a been a game changer, anyways , the site I’m buying it from has 40% tonight and tommorow so Ill probably grab a bottle or two. Other than that idk
I have the issue of getting nauseous sometimes when i really push myself. Typically when i doing everything in super sets and just trying to get in and out. There was 1 spot on my drive home i would always seem to make it to before i had to pull over and puke. Fortunately it at 6 am so nobodies around to see me. How much do you use?
Around 600mgs pre workout. My problem is that it’s not when I go CRAZY hard it starts even at like moderate intensity, so it kinda sucks. I’m not sure if it’s a 100% cure but it definitely seems to have been an improvement
If you wouldn't mind PM the site you're getting it from unless you think it's cool to post here. Does it have any PIP? I've heard that many of the higher mg versions have some pretty wicked PIP. Supposedly the Chase Irons stuff doesn't though. But maybe the dudes just marketing.
I think I can post it here. It’s just amino asylum. And then the coupon code that expires tonight is “BF” Yes there’s pip, they sell 200mg, 400mg and 600mg per ml. The 600 does have pip and it’s not crazy bad but it is pretty bad. I may switch to the 400mg and try that. I’ve also heard that chase irons doesn’t have pip also his regular price is better but this sale price is better for now. So I’ll probably get a bottle or two at this sale price and then when they run out switch to chase irons and try that.
What sucks is that doing a smaller concentration means you run out quicker (obviously) but when doing one cc per workout the 600mg only lasts 20 workouts, so I don’t really wanna do the 200mg one and only get like 10 workouts. I’ll have to do more research but I think I read somewhere that it has a loading phase so after a while you might not have to do such a big dose, I’m not positive tho and I haven’t experimented with it yet.
Thanks. I've ordered from them before i'm pretty sure. TNE only gets me something like 14 uses per vial when using 70 mg PWO. That's $2.50/use. That Ultima tne/drol mix we spoke of would be even more expensive. Probably more than i'd be willing to pay. But not bad for a promo thing.
I got 3 daughters, 4 baby mommas, 6 sisters. Current wife, ex wife and Mother and stepmom. Long story short I still don't know what the heck I'm buying.
Ment obviously lol, nah man just playin.
My worst fear is 3 baby mommas! I already look like a walking red flag. Add a third baby momma and there’s no denying it lmao. What’s the math on that? You got a kiddo on the way?
No I have a son but boys are easier to buy for and to figure out
Facts! I’m glad I had a son first. I was also a single father so it worked out great. And I say single father I mean I was physically and financially the only one. When he was a toddler dude was the greatest wing man of all time! He got me laid many times hahahah
Don't you have any close friends in your life willing to smack you upside the head after you got #2 and then really smack the shit out of you after #3 got preggo? How do you even afford to feed yourself with that much child support?
I don’t know his situation but sometimes good fathers don’t get put on child support. Especially if they are heavily involved and financially involved without question.
Daughter 31 now, mother would drag me in court Everytime I got a raise. Put her through college and she has Masters in nursing home administration. 2nd daughter 24, mom was cool and only wanted minimum support, "just be there for your daughter". My son i got custody of because mother was POS so no support he is 23 now. So those 3 are grown. My current daughter is 6yrs old and I'm married to her mom and she is way more normal than the other 3. But still learned the ultimate life rule. "ITS CHEAPER TO KEEP HER".
Yes sir! Lmao!! I live by this now hahaha. One of the main reasons I’ve pushed so hard to make this relationship work is bc it is in fact cheaper to keep her!
Everytime you fight just think is it going to be worth the money if we separate? Having children with them help you pick and choose your battles
Best believe I do. I am the only source of income. She has been a stay at home mom for 7years. Our youngest just started tk. If I left I’d have to cover everything til she can get on her. That could take more than a couple of years bc she would be starting from scratch. No education, no previous experience, no car, no anything. Although I love the traditional lifestyle of man works woman take care of children , food, and cleaning the biggest pitfall is if you separate they have nothing. You either get fucked by the system or you’d have to support her entirely til she can support herself. Basically I’d have to sleep in a car to make that happen.
Sure it's possible to not get on child support as a man. But that's far from typical. That would require the woman to not go down that route.
If they even go for state assistance then the state makes them pursue child support or they will get cut off all assistance
Facts
You’re right. It’s not typical.
I think he also has sons but was just highlighting the females of the family, that my educated guess anyway
I was going to say that math isn't mathing right. But if he has a son why doesn't little man get presents too!?
Clothes for the kiddos! Stocking up on anything wicked for my daughters. My son wants resistance bands for physical therapy. The wifey is still deciding. I just got me some meta gear! That movie wicked is dope! If you were the black shee of the family it hits. Damn a 55” would be nice. I was tryna get a 50” and the wifey says it’s too much lol
I'm going to have a 49" Samsung q60 to re-home! The base is a couple inches to big to fit on the dresser in my bedroom unfortunately.
I am looking for some nice discounts on shirts from either into the AM or true classic. I'm tall enough I need a large if I don't want my ass crack sticking out when I bend over but at 185 I'm still slim enough to fit better in a medium. Those 2 brands are the only ones I've found that fit me really well. They aren't cheap. But I've had some into the AM shirts for 4-5 years now and they haven't shrunk or gotten the saggy collar. They're just aren't quite as bright as they once were. I don't mind paying so long as it's a product that's going to last me.
In the am has some sic designs. I’m at that weird size we’re 2xl fits good but is too short and 3xl is too long. I might try them out and see how they fit.
I tend to stay with the solid colors without a logo if possible. Their long sleeve Henley's are so amazingly soft even a few months after washing and same with their hoodies. They make pretty nice dressier button downs too.
Not gonna lie I only wear black. Black shorts black shirts and tall black socks black shoes. I’ve been wanting to add some color I just feel like I look funny. Some of the space designs look sic I just don’t know if I’d wear them in public. The flannels are hard too. Reminds me of middle school early high school. Flamed the fuck up!
I got my "life outfit" i literally wear blue undershirt, grey shorts every day. like EVERY day. Makes it easy to fig out what I am going to wear. Plus at this point I feel like I need to wear the same thing cause my kids know what to look for. If I wore something else they wouldn't know who i was.
Yup I don’t need to think about it at all. I just reach into my drawer and grab whatever bc it’s all the same shit lmao. I bought a bluey shirt and my kids told me I look funny lmao. They think it’s weird if I wear anything not black. When I shaved my beard a couple years back my daughters cried lol.
I've got a couple of the flannels and they fit well. The only gripe i have with their stuff is to avoid the army green/olive color. I've gone through 3-4 t shirts/long sleeves in that color and every single one ends up fading and turning orange after washing it a bunch of times. I've tried multiple washers/dryers, 4 different detergents and a few different dryer sheets. Every one did the same thing. I have a hoodie in that color and so far it's been fine.
That just makes too much sense to sit at home and order online. My ole lady drags me out every black friday morning for worthless stuff we dont need or ever wanted! Atleast ur doing it right, enjoy that Samsung TV, sounds sweet!
My younger sisters and one of my ex's would go stand in line starting in the wee hours of the morning to get stuff. I think my ex got me a $3 toaster and crockpot one year. I haven't gone out to a store on Black Fri in like 4-5 years. It's just not worth the hassle.
I built myself a new entertainment center and have been spending some more time playing games at home so I really wanted to upgrade even though nothing was wrong with my current tv. It's just a bit small. I got the new one for $710 shipped which is around $400 off. I shouldn't have but oh well.
Good luck dealing with all the assholes out there. It's amazing how crazy some people can be to try and get "a good deal".
