So I just bought our tickets, first time we are making the trip down. I should have booked a hotel room a year ago by the looks of it tho,lol. There is nothing available until you get about five miles out lol. No big deal we can just do one day and drive back.
I am pretty pumped about checking it out tho. I would imagine there will be a bunch of us there. ;)

So I have been checking for hotels every day pretty much when all of a sudden today one of the swankier joints barely over a half mile away from the Arnold pinged a few rooms. It costs me 330 bucks but I think it will be worth it being right down town Saturday night.
So any of you guys still looking keep checking Booking.com and priceline, etc.

The Arnold is always a good time. If you do the expo try and get there as early as possible, it gets swamped on the floor as the day goes on. There's a lot of cool stuff there though; bodybuilding, strongman, powerlifting, mma and martial arts exhibitions. You can usually walk out with a decent amount of freebies if you hit the booths early enough.
Hotels were a bitch though. My wife got tickets for us a couple years ago for the night show and she struggled to get a decent hotel 4 months in advance.
If you happen to see a short, slim and bald older guy there, that'll be me brother! Lol

The thing is I tried to book at the red roof(across the street) for the next year when I was checking out and couldnt. They book so fast once they start accepting reservations its sick. The thing that sucks is paying for parking everyday if u go for the weekend and have to stay miles away. Traffic gets congested too.
Any tips you guys have that have already been there feel free to lay them on us.
Get in line for the expo as early as possible. Hit the big companies first before their lines get too long. Saturday is the best day for samples and tshirts. Dont wear alot of layers under your coat. It gets hot inside.
