Appendix surgery
ad
Im so pissed. Just got home from appendix surgery. 4 days in the hospital and lost 20Lbs!!!! 6 to 8 weeks recovery too. So I went from 195 to 175!!!
The way I look at it is this, I now have a real thin frame to work off of, and can build it better and more healthy (that's how I am staying positive).
Anyone else have surgery and how did you bounce back in the gym?
I feel so skinny and weak right now, it is amazing how much we take for granted when it come to health and looking the way we want too.

Supernova283That sure was a heavy appendix.
It sure was!!! No wonder it had to come out!
Don't rush in the gym, your weaker and that's, that.. If you try to lift what you used to your going to hurt yourself worse and be outa commission for who knows how much longer.. Slow and steady and diet hard.. Don't screw up like every one else does and try to lift your old weight the first or 2nd week back... Think of this as a new project and your getting a new frame to add muscle to.

Been through 2 hernia surgeries, left and right side. Your lucky you're in good shape and can heal faster than most. Just DON'T do like I did, sit on the couch with a bowl of Moose Tracks in one hand an a Big Mac in the other. I got fat as fugg within 30 days and it made for a much tougher/longer recovery. Good luck my brotha!
tread-mI've always got your 6 fat boy you know this! Of course you're a lean mean supermarket girl chasin machine now bt still, gotcha either way! Now drop and give me 20!
That is what I am worried about!!! I am not going to sit and eight shit all day and gain bad weight! I appreciate your comments very much.
zewiGood time to work on that diet...
Perfect time, I agree. It is just amazing to look in the mirror and see a whole different person. I guess, when I am back, I will think the same way! Thx my man
Don't rush it bro. Take the time to heal properly. Listen to your body and you'll know when ur ready...muscle memory is an awesome thing. You'll bounce back before you know it.
I hope you are correct. I have been reading and reading about muscle memory, etc. and it shouldn't be too hard to recover lost gains. It is amazing what 20lbs can do to a body post positive and negatively. Now I will build on this frame and make it 20lbs of better, leaner, mass.
